Georgia State University

The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character-qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.

This scholarship is presented in memory of a prominent Atlanta-area real estate family to recognize superior academic achievement and potential. It may be awarded to either a graduate or an undergraduate student.

This fund provides support to doctoral students in good standing in the Real Estate Department at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. Candidates chosen by faculty nomination.

Both merit and need of candidates are evaluated.

Robert W. Batten served as professor and director of Georgia State's Actuarial Science Program for 25 years. This award is presented annually to an actuarial science student in recognition of outstanding performance in actuarial mathematics.

International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation/Jones Lang LaSalle Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to two minority undergraduates studying real estate or a related field at Georgia State University and The University of Georgia

This annual scholarship award by the ICSC Foundation is given to a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate real estate program who displays excellence academically and exhibits a career interest in the retail real estate sector. The recipient is selected each fall based on faculty nominations.

Martin Sherry Scholarship of the ABAC is awarded to a junior or senior who is majoring in Marketing with a concentration in advertising, and is based on scholastic achievement and a sincere interest and potential for success in a career in advertising. Students must be nominated by a Marketing faculty member.

This scholarship established by the Atlanta Board of Realtors is in honor of Mr. Ed A. Isakson, past president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors. One or more scholarships will be provided each year for outstanding students majoring in real estate. The criteria for selection are need, scholastic achievement, and expression of a sincere interest in a professional career in real estate.

Annual Fellowships for doctoral students enrolled full-time at Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Students must demonstrate academic achievement, past accomplishments, and potential.

The Spurgeon Richardson Scholarship in Hospitality Leadership is in honor of Spurgeon Richardson, a well-known leader in Atlanta's hospitality community. Richardson served as president and CEO of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau for 17 years. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

Originally established by Wachovia Foundation, this scholarship was renamed the Wells Fargo - J. Mack Robinson College of Business Scholarship in 2015. The scholarship provides support to an undergraduate student majoring in any discipline within the Robinson College of Business.

Established in 2013 through a lead gift from GSU alumnus Lamar Smith, and other GSU alumni and friends in memory of Dr. David A. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz was a professor of marketing in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, and was considered a leading American authority on motivation.

A Master's of Professional Accountancy student with high academic achievement receives a cash award in honor of Dr. John W. Cook.

An outstanding Masters of Professional Accountancy student who has excelled in Systems receives a cash award in honor of the retired Director of the School of Accountancy, Dr. L. Eugene Berry.

Annually, in honor of Dr. Kathryn C. Buckner, PriceWaterhouseCoopers select an outstanding student to receive a scholarship based on accounting achievements and application to or enrollment in the Masters of Professional Accountancy or Masters of Taxation programs at Georgia State University.

This scholarship was funded by GSU alumni Connie and Ken McDaniel to support undergraduate students who are enrolled in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business School of Accountancy. The recipients must be in good academic standing at Georgia State University, and have a GPA of 3.5 or above.

This award was established to reward an outstanding student enrolled in the One-Year MPA program.

Established in 2012 by GSU alumni Edie and Tim Twomey to provide financial support for accounting majors in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The School of Accountancy at Georgia State University set up a scholarship fund to recognize outstanding undergraduate students intending on pursuing their graduate degrees in accounting.

Annual award for graduate students enrolled full-time at Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Students must have a minimum 3.75 GPA, financial need, have completed a minimum of 27 semester hours of graduate coursework, and be pursuing a career in business.

Established in 1990 by the Hannah Family in memory of Homer R. Hannah, an alumnus of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
