Wil Lutz was named to the Pro-Football Writers Association's (PFWA) All-Rookie Team. PFWA is the official voice of pro football writers, known for promoting and fighting for access to NFL personnel to best serve the public. The PFWA is made up of accredited writers who cover the NFL and the 32 teams daily.

This competitive national award is designed to eliminate the barrier of an unpaid internship by providing a $2,000 stipend for students completing their Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential.

The Public Management and Policy (PMAP) Scholarship is awarded annually to one or more outstanding incoming M.P.A. and M.P.P. students. Recipients must maintain full-time and good standing status in the graduate program and serve as graduate research assistants in the PMAP department.

Established through the generosity of The Coca-Cola Foundation in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young, the Dean's Fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding student or students pursuing a doctoral degree in the Andrew Young School. The CARE Fellowship is a one-year graduate student internship program with CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Fellows gain practical experience in various aspects of international development and global health to prepare them for careers working with various international aid organizations, financial institutions, governments and related organizations.

The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (ENI) features graduate and undergraduate students who are poised to make waves in a range of disciplines and industries. Their unlimited potential was on full display at the Personal Elevator Pitch Competition recently hosted by Clayton State University's College of Business. Participants were tasked with putting together a 90-second elevator pitch to communicate their value to potential employers. Three ENI students finished in the top four.

Flexible MBA students Kaydee Wilson, Terry Coniglio, Bruce Choi and Megan Jentz won the Mercedes-Benz eMobility Case Competition focused on the luxury automaker's future electric car offerings.

A team of four classmates in a course offered through the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (ENI) made it to the top five in the Atlanta Startup Battle, a quarterly competition held at TechSquare Labs. Undergraduates Ahmed Reshit, Luis Ferrer-Labarca, Sara Yeh and Alex Blanco-Pence pitched uPet, a pet rental service aimed at encouraging people to adopt instead of shop for a furry friend.

The Nell Hamilton Trotter Student Leadership Award recognizes an outstanding commitment to student involvement, and is the highest student leadership award presented by Georgia State University.

The Kell Award for academic achievement is presented to students graduating from Georgia State University at the undergraduate level with the highest institutional grade-point average at the time of commencement.
