This scholarship is in memory of Robert King, a leader in Georgia's hospitality industry as president of the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association. It is presented to a hospitality major based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc., based in Atlanta, was founded in 1978 by JK Patel. The company owns, develops, and manages brand defining hotels in key business markets and leisure destinations. This scholarship is based on academic achievement, hotel career aspirations, work experience and leadership in student organizations.

Madiha Charania was recognized for receiving the Eric and Barbara Joiner Award at the 2016 Honors Day Celebration.

Shoua M. Xiong was recognized for receiving the Evelyn S. Bowyer Memorial Scholarship at the 2016 Honors Day Celebration.

Established in 2011 by Mr. and Mrs. Shreiber, who are friends of Georgia State University, to provide financial support for deserving students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Mr. Shreiber is an Honorary Alumnus of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The Georgia State Student Trial Lawyers Association gives our students an opportunity to gain experience in a courtroom setting through participation in national competitions. The program focuses on criminal and civil trial practice skills and enables members to apply the knowledge they gain in their evidence and litigation courses.

This scholarship is in memory of Margaret Lupo, founder and owner of Mary Mac's Tea Room. Margaret Lupo was a leading restaurant entrepreneur and known for her southern hospitality. It is awarded to a student who is majoring in hospitality with a restaurant management focus. Selection is also based on academic achievement, work experience and restaurant industry involvement.

The Georgia CIO Leadership Association Scholarship was presented at the annual Honors Day Celebration.

This scholarship was established in honor of John Jordan, a national leader in the private club industry. Jordan was the general manager/CEO of the Cherokee Town and Country Club for over 46 years. During his career, he was elected president of the Club Managers Association of America. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on career interest in club management, academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

This scholarship was established by Hunter Realty, a leading hotel broker since 1978. In addition to recognizing academic performance and work experience, the scholarship gives preference to students with career plans in hotel development and double-majors in hospitality and real estate or finance.

Located in Atlanta, Hotel Equities is a full service hotel management company, providing awarding-winning management, development and consulting for hotels throughout the United States. The founder of Hotel Equities is Georgia State University alumnus, Fred Cerrone. This scholarship is based on academic achievement, career goals, work experience and school and community involvement.

This scholarship was established by the Atlanta Hospitality Alliance. Founded in 2009, AHA provides a forum for networking and professional development to Atlanta-area hotel owners, developers, operators, franchisors and professional service providers. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on career interest in hotel development or management, academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

This scholarship was established in memory of the founder of Days Inn and the namesake of the School of Hospitality. It is awarded to hospitality majors based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

This scholarship, funded by the professional association for hotel concierges in Atlanta, is in memory of Kevin Roach, a long-time hotel employee who was dedicated to quality guest service. The Concierge Society of Atlanta presents this scholarship to a hospitality major with work experience in the hotel industry in a concierge or guest service capacity.

The Rama brothers, principals of JHM Hotels, Inc., established the scholarship program with a $1,000,001 endowment gift. Since its inception in 1998, the fund has awarded $726,800 to 446 students.

In 1981, a scholarship endowment fund was established in memory of Cecil B. Day from the Cecil B. Day Investment Company with a $500,000 contribution. To date, more than $878,500 in scholarships has been awarded to 754 students.

The Federation of Schools of Accountancy awards an outstanding student with a recognition plaque based on academic achievement.

Pace Scholarship Received at Honors Day Celebration.

This scholarship was established in 2011 by Georgia State Univeristy alumna Phyllis L. Parker to provide support to students who are majoring in any discipline in the Robinson College of Business. Recipients must be a first generation college student, and have at least one parent who emigrated to the U.S. from a foreign country and became a naturalized citizen or permanent resident.

This scholarship was established in 2013 by Stuart Schwarzschild, Ph.D, who was an Emertius Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at Georgia State University.

This scholarship was created to honor Richard Hammill, past senior vice president of marketing at The Home Depot. Recipients of the award must be currently majoring in marketing, have demonstrated financial need, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show a high potential for a successful career in marketing. One scholarship of $1,000 is awarded per calendar year.

Established in 1973 by Mr. Moore to provide support for students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The Lori Muse Study Abroad Scholarship Endowment was established in memory of Lori Muse and her love for international travel. It was her wish that all students have the opportunity to study abroad.

The Jeff & Teresa Kelly Award

The John F. Euart, Jr. Family Scholarship was established in 2013 by Georgia State University alumus John F. Euart, Jr. to provide financial support for deserving students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The Thera H. Richter Memorial Scholarship was established by Mr. Marvin O. Richter in 1998 in honor of his late wife, Thera H. Richter. This scholarship is awarded by the Honors Program in the Robinson College of Business and recognizes scholastic achievement with preference given to students participating in the Upsilon Chapter of Phi Chi theta.

The Zera-Allen Scholarships Endowment was originally established in 1998 by Angela Z. and Samuel E. Allen. In 2012, the fund was split equally to provide current student support through two scholarships, the Zera-Allen Scholarship, and the Zera-Allen Global Partners MBA Scholarship. The Global Partners MBA recipients must be in good academic standing in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, or have applied to the MBA Program and demonstrated a potential for academic success.
