The Georgia State Student Trial Lawyers Association gives our students an opportunity to gain experience in a courtroom setting through participation in national competitions. This scholarship is in memory of Margaret Lupo, founder and owner of Mary Mac's Tea Room. Margaret Lupo was a leading restaurant entrepreneur and known for her southern hospitality. It is awarded to a student who is majoring in hospitality with a restaurant management focus. Selection is also based on academic achievement, work experience and restaurant industry involvement.

This scholarship was established in honor of John Jordan, a national leader in the private club industry. Jordan was the general manager/CEO of the Cherokee Town and Country Club for over 46 years. During his career, he was elected president of the Club Managers Association of America. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on career interest in club management, academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

This scholarship, funded by the professional association for hotel concierges in Atlanta, is in memory of Kevin Roach, a long-time hotel employee who was dedicated to quality guest service. The Concierge Society of Atlanta presents this scholarship to a hospitality major with work experience in the hotel industry in a concierge or guest service capacity.

The Rama brothers, principals of JHM Hotels, Inc., established the scholarship program with a $1,000,001 endowment gift. Since its inception in 1998, the fund has awarded $726,800 to 446 students.

This scholarship was established in 2011 by Georgia State Univeristy alumna Phyllis L. Parker to provide support to students who are majoring in any discipline in the Robinson College of Business. Recipients must be a first generation college student, and have at least one parent who emigrated to the U.S. from a foreign country and became a naturalized citizen or permanent resident.

Richard Hammill Outstanding Marketing Student Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor Richard Hammill, past senior vice president of marketing at The Home Depot. Recipients of the award must be currently majoring in marketing, have demonstrated financial need, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show a high potential for a successful career in marketing. One scholarship of $1,000 is awarded per calendar year.

Zera-Allen Scholarship

The Zera-Allen Scholarships Endowment was originally established in 1998 by Angela Z. and Samuel E. Allen. In 2012, the fund was split equally to provide current student support through two scholarships, the Zera-Allen Scholarship, and the Zera-Allen Global Partners MBA Scholarship. The Global Partners MBA recipients must be in good academic standing in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, or have applied to the MBA Program and demonstrated a potential for academic success.
