Congratulations to 3rd Year MFA candidate Elham Masoudi who is included in the "Focus Iran 2: Contemporary Photography and Video" biennial at The Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM). The second biennial juried exhibition is co-presented with the Farhang Foundation and opens on January 29.

The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (ENI) features graduate and undergraduate students who are poised to make waves in a range of disciplines and industries. Their unlimited potential was on full display at the Personal Elevator Pitch Competition recently hosted by Clayton State University's College of Business. Participants were tasked with putting together a 90-second elevator pitch to communicate their value to potential employers. Three ENI students finished in the top four.

ENI Students Place in Top 5 at Atlanta Startup Battle
A team of four classmates in a course offered through the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (ENI) made it to the top five in the Atlanta Startup Battle, a quarterly competition held at TechSquare Labs. Undergraduates Ahmed Reshit, Luis Ferrer-Labarca, Sara Yeh and Alex Blanco-Pence pitched uPet, a pet rental service aimed at encouraging people to adopt instead of shop for a furry friend.

William W. Daniel Mock Trial Competition
Georgia State University College of Law Student Trial Lawyers Association team of Ryan Brown (J.D. '17), Lacey Wheeler (J.D. '17), Robert Noens (J.D. '18) and Hunter Rogers (J.D. '18) won the William Daniel Mock Trial Competition held Nov. 19-20 at the Fulton County courthouse. Alison Burleson (J.D. '00) and Alex Galvan (J.D. '14) coached the group. Every summer, the William W. Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Committee sends hundreds of applications to ABA accredited law schools. Only 18 schools are invited to compete in this well-known competition named in honor of the late Judge William W. Daniel of the Superior Court of Fulton County.
