Russell Dylan Ruediger Accepts Position as Coordinator for the Career Diversity for Historians initiative with American Historical Association (AHA)
Dylan Ruediger a Provost Dissertation Fellow earned his doctorate in Native American and early American History at Georgia State University in Spring 2017. He has accepted a position with the American Historical Association (AHA) as the coordinator for the Career Diversity for Historians initiative. The American Historical Association (AHA) was founded in 1884 to establish high professional standards for historical training and research. Today, the American Historical Association is the largest professional organization serving historians in all fields and all professions. The AHA has become a trusted voice for history education, the professional work of historians, and the critical role of historical thinking in public life.

David L. Boren Scholarships and Fellowships are sponsored by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), a major federal initiative designed to build a broader and more qualified pool of U.S. citizens with foreign language and international skills. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) helps ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science and engineering in the United States and reinforces its diversity.
