Sheena Porter received the Outstanding Health and Physical Education Undergraduate Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

Georgia State University graduate Forrest Dabbs received the David E. Ogren Memorial Endowed Scholarship during the 2021-22 academic year. The scholarship is given to a student for outstanding service to the Department of Geosciences and was created to honor the memory of David E. Ogren, Professor Emeritus in Geology.

The Andrew Altman Social Justice Scholarship is awarded to a member of the incoming Master of Arts in Philosophy class every year who on the basis of their application will make a strong contribution to advancing these goals through their scholarship, teaching, and service.

Martin Branick received the Outstanding Sport Administration Graduate Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

The Outstanding Sport Administration Undergraduate Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development is given to a student who best exemplifies the ideals of the Georgia State sport administration program and shows exceptional promise as an emerging leader in the sport business industry.

Rebekah Pollock received the Outstanding Doctoral Student in Educational Psychology Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding scholarship, teaching and/or service in the educational psychology doctoral degree program.

The Sandra Dwyer Award for Excellence in Teaching is given to one or more graduate students for excellence in teaching, as judged by faculty, teaching reviews, student evaluations, student performance, and innovative course design.

Anna Mason received the Outstanding Master's Thesis in Educational Psychology Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of a master's thesis of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of educational psychology.

Heather Ness-Maddox received the Outstanding Researcher in Educational Psychology Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a student in educational psychology in recognition of outstanding research.

Aaron Rafter received the Outstanding Dissertation in Learning Technologies Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

More than 4,000 students graduated from Georgia State at the associate's, bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral levels during the spring semester.

The Kay C. Craigie Student Support Fund Scholarship is awarded to academically successful philosophy majors who face financial barriers to realizing their dreams. The award was created with the generous support of Kay Craigie.

The Thomas and Wendy Reiman Endowed Scholarship provides support to undergraduates who have reached the junior or senior level in the College of Arts and Sciences and are majoring in the humanities.

Georgia State University student Anastasiia Grigoreva has received the Friedrich William Ralf Munster Fellowship in Philosophy for excellence as a first-year graduate student. The fellowship is given to an outstanding graduate student in Philosophy in honor of Ralf F. Munster, chair of the department from 1955 to 1976.

Georgia State University student Alan Russell-DuMond Swirsky has received the Wade Family Scholarship. This fund provides scholarship support for students in the English or Political Science departments.

Georgia State University student Maximiliana Rifkin has received the Friedrich William Ralf Munster Fellowship in Philosophy for excellence in research. The fellowship is given to an outstanding graduate student in Philosophy in honor of Ralf F. Munster, chair of the department from 1955 to 1976.

Georgia State University student Carly Marie Alaimo has received the Paul Bowles Graduate Fellowship in Fiction Writing. The fellowship is awarded to exceptional graduate students who have been accepted into a graduate program in creative writing, with a specialization in fiction writing.

Georgia State University student Brian A. Spann has received the Outstanding English Major Award. Spann received the award for his outstanding work in English throughout his time at Georgia State.

The Dabney A. Hart Scholarship provides support for students who have declared a major in English and have received a nomination and recommendation from a faculty member in the English department for an outstanding student essay. The recipient of the award must be a current sophomore or junior in good academic standing, have submitted an outstanding end-of-course essay, and have provided a recommendation/nomination letter from an English department faculty member.

The award is given to an exceptional student for whom the study of writing or literature has made a significant impact. This fund was created to honor the legacy of Eleanor Mary Pratt, who had a deep spiritual faith and a love of literature, the English language, and the fine arts.

The Religious Studies Endowed Scholarship is the first endowed award in Religious Studies, created by Religious Studies alumni to recognize outstanding scholarship and academic potential.

The Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Sociology is presented to undergraduate students in the Sociology department who have shown excellence in their field.

The Margaret L. Anderson Scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate Sociology student. This endowment was created by Margaret Andersen (B.A. Sociology, 1970) and her husband, Richard Rosenfeld.

The Jacqueline Boles Graduate Teaching Fellowship, presented to outstanding graduate instructors in the Department of Sociology, was created to honor Jackie Boles, a cherished sociology faculty member at Georgia State University for more than 30 years.

The Outstanding Graduate Student in Religious Studies is given to outstanding graduate students within the department.

The Outstanding Graduate Award is awarded to exceptional graduate students in the Department of Applied Linguistics & ESL.

The scholarship, which recognizes a senior anthropology major who shows strong potential in the field, is named in memory of Georgia State student Jeremy Gillen and his enthusiasm for the field.

The recipient must have shown an ability to overcome financial needs and obstacles by hard work, not only academically but often in off-term and/or part-time employment during school terms, and have a demonstrated commitment to Georgia State University and global studies.
