Georgia State University student Victoria Davis has received the Eleanor M. Pratt Endowment for English Majors Award. The award is given to an exceptional student for whom the study of writing or literature has made a significant impact. This fund was created to honor the legacy of Eleanor Mary Pratt, who had a deep spiritual faith and a love of literature, the English language, and the fine arts.

The Religious Studies Endowed Scholarship is the first endowed award in Religious Studies, created by Religious Studies alumni to recognize outstanding scholarship and academic potential.

The Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Sociology is presented to undergraduate students in the Sociology department who have shown excellence in their field.

The Margaret L. Anderson Scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate Sociology student. This endowment was created by Margaret Andersen (B.A. Sociology, 1970) and her husband, Richard Rosenfeld.

The Jacqueline Boles Graduate Teaching Fellowship, presented to outstanding graduate instructors in the Department of Sociology, was created to honor Jackie Boles, a cherished sociology faculty member at Georgia State University for more than 30 years.

The Outstanding Graduate Student in Religious Studies is given to outstanding graduate students within the department.

The Outstanding Graduate Award is awarded to exceptional graduate students in the Department of Applied Linguistics & ESL.

The scholarship, which recognizes a senior anthropology major who shows strong potential in the field, is named in memory of Georgia State student Jeremy Gillen and his enthusiasm for the field.

Georgia State University student Angela Beck has received the Laurie House Hopkins Scholarship in Global Studies. This fund was established by Georgia State alumna Laurie Eileen House to provide undergraduate scholarships to Global Studies students in the college. The recipient must have shown an ability to overcome financial needs and obstacles by hard work, not only academically but often in off-term and/or part-time employment during school terms, and have a demonstrated commitment to Georgia State University and global studies.

The Thomas and Wendy Reiman Endowed Scholarship provides support to undergraduates who have reached the junior or senior level in the College of Arts and Sciences and are majoring in the humanities.

The Roberta Gose Kelley Undergraduate Scholarship in the Sciences was established in memory of and to honor Roberta Gose Kelley and her commitment and dedication to public education in the state of Georgia. This scholarship is available to undergraduate students at the junior or senior level with demonstrated financial need.

The Lee Project Endowed Scholarship goes to a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated financial need, and who has experienced a form of adversity or tragedy. The recipient must also have graduated from a Georgia public high school. It was created in memory of Lee Lowery III who was a sophomore at Georgia State and graduated from Grady (now Midtown) High School, where he was a soccer player.

The Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is presented to graduate students in the Institute for Women's, Gender and Sexualities Studies who have shown excellence in their field.

Lance Armistead received the Outstanding Ph.D. Student in Learning Technologies Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

Genesis Ramos received the Outstanding Master's Student in Learning Technologies Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

This award is given to an outstanding student in the teaching and learning doctoral program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

This award is given in recognition of outstanding scholarship and service in the special education master's degree program.

The three-year Kenneth W. and Georganne F. Honeycutt Fellowship is awarded to advanced doctoral students in neuroscience in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in their graduate program.

The Lucielle Adams Scholarship is awarded to rising undergraduate seniors in Africana Studies who have a combination of unmet financial need and who demonstrate academic excellence.

The Marie C. Keel Award is given in honor of the late Marie C. Keel, associate professor in the former Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education, and presented to an individual for excellence in supervision or mentoring of a student in the special education field.

The Dr. Cleon C. Arrington Scholarship in the Sciences goes to a full-time undergraduate with a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated financial need. The recipient must be majoring in science, math, or one of the other STEM fields.

The Cooley Scholarship is presented to high-achieving students who demonstrate financial need and have declared their major in biology, physics, astronomy, chemistry or geosciences.

The Come Back, Pounce Forward Scholarship provides support for Arts and Sciences students who were in good academic standing and within 12 credits of graduating but had to stop attending the university for financial reasons. It provides funds that allow students to return to Georgia State and finish their degree.

This award is given to an outstanding student in the reading, language and literacy education master of education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

The African-American Alumni Club Scholarship provides support for tuition, fees, books, and/or other expenses to undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences. Recipients must be in good academic standing, have a minimum grade point average of 3.0, have demonstrated financial need, and have performed significant community service.

The competitive Jacqueline Boles Graduate Teaching Fellowship supports a master's student in the Institute for Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies who is conducting research focused on women, with a preference for feminist activism and movements for social change. The award was established by Diane Fowlkes, founding director of the institute, to ensure the perpetual study of the feminist movement.
