The Joseph O. and Louise P. Baylen Scholarship was created to support undergraduate students in good academic standing who are enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences and are pursuing an academic program of study in the History Department.

The Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley Study Abroad Scholarship was created by Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley to help make studying abroad a reality for students majoring in history. He earned a B.A. in History from Georgia State and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. She earned a B.S. in Math from Georgia State.

The Mary M. MacKinnon Endowed Scholarship in Gerontology is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate great passion for hands-on work with the aging community. Students must be in good standing and have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher to be considered for the award. This fund was created by family and friends to honor Mary M. MacKinnon, one of the founders of the graduate studies program in Gerontology.

The Atlanta Bar Foundation Ginny and Kelly Smith Tax Clinic Award is given to outstanding Georgia State Law students who serve in the college's Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. The clinic serves the community by representing taxpayers who are unable to afford legal representation in federal income or employment tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.

Toccara Davenport received the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Mathematics and Science from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.
