The Henry Thompson Malone Memorial Scholarship in History goes to a meritorious history major with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students with research interests in colonial America, nineteenth-century United States, Native American, or Georgia history. This scholarship was created by Alice Young to honor the memory of her husband, Henry Malone, a history professor and administrator at Georgia State.

The Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley Study Abroad Scholarship was created by Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley to help make studying abroad a reality for students majoring in history. He earned a B.A. in History from Georgia State and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. She earned a B.S. in Math from Georgia State.

The Mary M. MacKinnon Endowed Scholarship in Gerontology is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate great passion for hands-on work with the aging community. Students must be in good standing and have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher to be considered for the award. This fund was created by family and friends to honor Mary M. MacKinnon, one of the founders of the graduate studies program in Gerontology.

The clinic serves the community by representing taxpayers who are unable to afford legal representation in federal income or employment tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
