The merit-based scholarship recognizes an exceptional undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in criminal justice.

The award provides scholarships to employees of law enforcement agencies in the metropolitan Atlanta area who are part-time or full-time students in the criminal justice program of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.

The award is presented to the student who has maintained the highest grade point average in the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program during their junior or senior year.

The award is presented to the students who have maintained the highest grade point average for the calendar year in the Master of Science in Criminal Justice program.

The merit-based scholarship, shared by the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology and School of Social Work, is presented annually to a rising junior or senior majoring in each area. It was established by the Georgia Council of Juvenile Court Judges in memory of Chris Perrin, executive director of the council and an alumnus of Georgia State University.

The award, established by alumna Linda Byars (B.B.A. '68, M.A. '73), provides financial assistance to first-generation college students in good academic standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

The scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors planning to take summer courses to complete their Andrew Young School undergraduate degrees.

The University Fellows program, established by Georgia State University to support doctoral students engaged in the research of faculty recruited to join the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies under the Second Century Initiative, builds internationally recognized scholarly strength and critical mass around common research themes to enhance the university's overall quality, interdisciplinary richness and competitiveness. The fellowship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing a Ph.D. in economics, public policy or criminal justice.

Established through the generosity of The Coca-Cola Foundation in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young, the three-year Dean's Fellowship is awarded annually to outstanding candidates pursuing doctoral degrees in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.

The award recognizes students who have, in the judgment of the faculty, gone above and beyond in their field placement while demonstrating initiative and creativity.

Awarded in memory of E.P. "Phil" Peters, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (1980-1985), this merit-based scholarship is given annually to a junior majoring in criminal justice.

Established in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young through the generosity of many supporters, this three-year fellowship is awarded annually to outstanding students pursuing Ph.D.s in economics, public policy or criminal justice.

Established to provide financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate leaders and scholars in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, this scholarship is awarded for academic merit, leadership and need.

This fellowship was established in honor of Jean Childs Young through the generosity of R. Charles Loudermilk, Sr., the chairman emeritus and founder of Aaron Rents, Inc., who attended Georgia State University in 1948 and was inducted into the Robinson College of Business Hall of Fame in 2005. This endowment, which honors the life and legacy of Jean Childs Young, provides fellowships for graduate students in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and supports the Jean Childs Young lecture series.

This award was established to provide training opportunities for government officials, junior executives in national finance ministries and young people who may be the leaders of tomorrow in countries with emerging economies, especially in Africa and the Caribbean.

Kristin Crear received the Outstanding Master's Student Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given for outstanding scholarship and clinical service in the communication sciences and disorders master's degree program.

Gennie Hendrick received the Outstanding Clinician in Communication Sciences and Disorders Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award recognizes excellence and creativity in clinical skills in speech-language pathology.

The Outstanding Dissertation in Counselor Education and Practice Award is given by the Georgia State University College of Education and Human Development in recognition of a dissertation of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of counselor education and practice.
