The Lee Project Endowed Scholarship goes to a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated financial need, and who has experienced a form of adversity or tragedy. The recipient must also have graduated from a Georgia public high school. It was created in memory of Lee Lowery III who was a sophomore at Georgia State and graduated from Grady (now Midtown) High School, where he was a soccer player.
