Sheppard, of Atlanta, is a Bachelor's student in Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences. This scholarship was created to honor Dr. Rifkind and the positive difference that he has made in the lives of students. It provides financial support to students majoring in Speech Communication, Dr. Rifkind's academic area of specialization. The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of Alpha Eta in March 1975.

The Nursing Student Service Award recognizes undergraduate students for outstanding service, demonstrating exemplary performance and distinctive contributions to the university, School of Nursing, community and the nursing profession.

The Lambda Beta National Honor Society was formed in 1986 to promote, recognize and honor scholarship, scholarly achievement, service, and character of students, graduates, and faculty members of the profession.

This award recognizes an outstanding bachelor of science dental hygiene student who has demonstrated academic achievement and strong leadership skills.

This scholarship recognizes a second year physical therapy student who has strong academic standing and displays leadership potential.

Robbertz, of New Albany, Ohio, is a Ph.D. student in Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Deshpande Rau Award promotes academic excellence in respiratory therapy by recognizing students who show strong academic promise and demonstrate leadership qualities. The award was created in 2020 by retired RT department chair Joe Rau and retired RT faculty member Vijay Deshpande.

This scholarship was established in memory of Daniel Sansone, son of Joseph Sansone, founder and CEO of Pediatria Healthcare, LLC and former advisory board member of the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions. The Daniel J. Sansone Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student interested in pediatric nursing or respiratory therapy.

This award is given by the faculty to graduating seniors and master's candidates. The award recognizes students who have displayed outstanding performance in clinical rotations.

The Faculty Recognition Award is presented to graduating respiratory therapy students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a positive professional attitude and a willingness to serve the needs of classmates, the community, and the profession of respiratory therapy.

This award is given to the individual in the Department of Physical Therapy who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to his or her class.

This award recognizes a graduating Respiratory Therapy student or students with the highest GPA achieved in the respiratory therapy progam.

This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. This award is given to a junior(s) in the program who exemplifies Mr. Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.

The Professional Merit Award is presented to the student or students who has/have most actively participated in professional activities within the community and who demonstrates high standards of professionalism.
