Daniel J. Sansone Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Daniel Sansone, son of Joseph Sansone, founder and CEO of Pediatria Healthcare, LLC and former advisory board member of the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions. The Daniel J. Sansone Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student interested in pediatric nursing or respiratory therapy.

Georgia State University student Meghana Rapelli recently presented research at the Georgia Academy of Science Conference. Rapelli, of Bhadradri Kothagudem, India, is a Master's student in Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Georgia Academy of Science Annual Conference, held recently at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, and dedicated to the promotion of science education and the fostering of scientific research in the state of Georgia. Her presentation was titled, "Sexual dimorphism and phylogeny of the mandibular notch in humans, apes and Fossil hominins." Rapelli prepared the presentation with the help of Frank L. Williams, Professor of Anthropology. The College of Arts and Sciences provides a skill-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.
