Georgia State Student Chris Palma Receives Overseas Research Scholarship
Georgia State University student Chris Palma recently received the Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel. Palma, of Hapeville, is a Bachelor's student in Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel was established to allow an excellent undergraduate or graduate student to conduct research overseas. Georgia State University student Victoria Wilder recently received the Psychology Grace Study Abroad Scholarship. Wilder, of Dallas, Ga., is a Bachelor's student in Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Psychology Grace Award is a $1,000 scholarship award for Psychology majors studying abroad during the spring semester. Alpha Eta National Honor Society in Health Professions
The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of Alpha Eta in March 1975.

Georgia State University student Graciela Cain recently received the Lucille Adams Scholarship in African American Studies. Cain, of Decatur, is a Bachelor's student in Africana Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Lucille Adams Scholarship is awarded to rising seniors in the department who have unmet financial need and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in Africana Studies coursework. Students are selected based on their service to their community, campus and to the department.
