Georgia State University student Yunjung Nam recently published a book chapter in "Enhancing Beginner-Level Foreign Language Education for Adult Learners." Nam, of Busan, South Korea, is a Ph.D. student in Applied Linguistics in the College of Arts and Sciences. Nam's chapter was titled "An exploration of beginner-level Korean learners' perceptions and participation in collaborative writing tasks for learning-oriented assessment." Nam wrote the chapter with the help of Assistant Professor Hakyoon Lee. The College of Arts and Sciences provides a skill-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.

More than 3,000 students graduated from Georgia State University during the fall 2022 semester at the associate's, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral levels.

To be eligible for the President's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester.
