Georgia State University student Zoe Bachiller recently received the Kevin M. Brady Endowed Scholarship. The Kevin M. Brady Endowed Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in the Pre-Med/Pre-Health concentration program. To be considered for the award, students must be in good academic standing, be a top performing student and have a demonstrated financial need.

Georgia State University student Miranda Movahed recently received the Neurobiology and Behavior Graduate Fellowship. The Neurobiology and Behavior Graduate Fellowship is given in recognition of outstanding research and scholarship by a senior graduate student in the neurobiology and behavior program.

Georgia State University student Amany Elsharkawy recently received the Timothy Jon Bartness Memorial Award. The scholarship was established in memory of Timothy Jon Bartness (1953-2015), who joined the Biology department faculty in 1988. He was internationally celebrated for his research on obesity and metabolic physiology in addition to mentoring young scientists.

Georgia State University student Chetna Batra recently received the William G. Nolan Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship Award. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate students who excel in academic achievement based on grade-point average, intellectual inquisitiveness, and research activities and who show leadership and good citizenship at Georgia State and in other communities. This fund was created in memory of former Associate Professor of Biology William G. Nolan.

The Goodale Family Scholarship in International Study recognizes international studies students who are traveling to study or conduct research in a country they have never visited.

This scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students with demonstrated interest in the BioBus which provides hands-on activities and demonstrations designed to get K-12 students interested in STEM education.

Memorial Scholarship was established by Sherry Carter to posthumously honor her husband's life and legacy by helping students at his alma mater Georgia State University to earn a degree. The scholarship awards scholarships to rising juniors and seniors majoring in Africana Studies.
