The Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate research conference which highlights and recognizes the research taking place across Georgia State's campus. The Susan Zoukis Fellowship for Graduate Research in Mandatory Sentencing is given to students in the Political Science Department with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who are interested in research on the effects of mandatory sentencing.

The Bailey M. Wade Fellowship is given to a first-year graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding coursework, individual research and scholarship, financial need and departmental service.

The Doctoral Fellowship in Trauma Intervention is awarded to students whose program of study prepares them to provide assistance to people who have experienced traumatic events.

The Richard Morrell Outstanding Graduate Student in Psychology Award is awarded annually to an outstanding graduate student in the Psychology Department.

The Theresa Nash Bernstein Scholarship in International Travel Award is given to a psychology undergraduate or graduate student who is traveling to do research or study in a country the student has not yet visited.

The Walter F. Daves Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award is given annually to a graduate student who has been an outstanding instructor in the Psychology Department.

The Haywood Family Scholarship supports undergraduates studying in the School of Music. The award was established by Gene T. Haywood.

The Paul Bowles Graduate Student Fellowship in Fiction Writing is awarded to an incoming or current graduate student who is studying fiction writing.
