The award is named for James P. Rozelle, a former faculty member of the CIS Department at Georgia State University. Winners receive a cash award.

Korean-American Business Center Award
The Korean-American Business Center (KABC) is a departmental center, organized within the Center for Research in Information Systems (CRIS) and housed in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department in Georgia State's Robinson College of Business. It is a boundary-spanning organization between the CIS Department and the Korean business community in the United States and Korea.

The Jeff and Sherry Hwang Scholarship provides scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students in good standing who are enrolled in The J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Each year, the Computer Information Systems Department honors the graduate student in the MS-CIS program with the most outstanding academic record. The award is named for William C. Cotterman, the first chairman of the CIS Department at Georgia State University.

Bergeron Women in Technology Scholarship
The Bergeron scholarship is awarded to undergraduate female students in the CIS or Computer Science program who have demonstrated potential for leadership careers in technology. The program provides a tuition award and a one-on-one mentor relationship with a leader from the technology industry. The program is funded through a $1 million endowment by Sandra and Doug Bergeron.
