The Robert H. Hankla Endowment Award provides support for outstanding seniors majoring in physics. The scholarship was created by the family of Robert H. Hankla in his honor. Hankla was an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy for 30 years and assistant dean and director of graduate studies in the College for ten years.
