Laurie House Hopkins Scholarship in Global Studies
The Laurie House Hopkins Scholarship in Global Studies was established by Georgia State alumna Laurie Eileen House to provide undergraduate scholarships to students in the Global Studies Institute of the College of Arts & Sciences. Recipients must meet the following criteria: be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in the Global Studies Institute who has shown ability to overcome financial need and obstacles by hard work, not only academically, but often in off-term and/or part-time employment during school terms, have a demonstrated commitment to Georgia State University and the Global Studies Institute and a strong interest in international issues and becoming prepared for a career in the global marketplace, have a current overall minimum 3.0 GPA and have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Georgia State University Office of Financial Aid.
