Harding B. Young Teaching Excellence Award
The Harding B. Young Teaching Excellence Award is a scholarship for doctoral students enrolled full-time at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business Institute of International Business. Students must demonstrate academic achievement in teaching.

Bergeron Women in Technology Scholarship
The Bergeron scholarship is awarded to undergraduate female students in the CIS or Computer Science program who have demonstrated potential for leadership careers in technology. The program provides a tuition award and a one-on-one mentor relationship with a leader from the technology industry. The program is funded through a $1 million endowment by Sandra and Doug Bergeron.

This scholarship, funded by the professional association for hotel concierges in Atlanta, is in memory of Kevin Roach, a long-time hotel employee who was dedicated to quality guest service. The Concierge Society of Atlanta presents this scholarship to a hospitality major with work experience in the hotel industry in a concierge or guest service capacity.

H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr. Outstanding Student
H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr. Outstanding Student award is named after Mr. H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr., past chairman of the board of Life of Georgia and a Georgia State alum. The award is presented to the outstanding undergraduate finance major over the past year. The criteria used to determine the recipient include classroom performance and recommendations from past instructors.

2019 Floyd S. Harper Actuarial Science Award
The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character-qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.
