Alpha Eta National Honor Society in Health Professions
The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of Alpha Eta in March 1975.

Kiana Colquitt, a Master of Science in Marketing student of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, successfully completed a graduate assistantship for the Office of the Provost as the first person to hold the position, where she provided valuable assistance with writing, editing, photography and background research during the 2018-19 academic year.

Robert H. Hankla Endowment Award
The Robert H. Hankla Endowment Award provides support for senior undergraduate students majoring in Physics. Students considered for the award must be outstanding undergraduate students who are eligible to graduate during the academic year in which the award is given. The scholarship was created by the family of Robert H. Hankla in his honor. Dr. Hankla was an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy for 30 years, and assistant dean and director of graduate studies in the College of Arts and Sciences for 10 years.

The Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley Study Abroad Scholarship was created by Dr. Steve and Lynne Wrigley to help make studying abroad a reality for students majoring in History. Dr. Steve Wrigley earned a B.A. in History from Georgia State and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Lynne Wrigley earned a B.S. in Math from Georgia State.

Akinola-King 2018 Recipient of Carole Golder Memorial Scholarship
Joshua Akinola-King, Chair of SGA's Atlanta Senate Student Life Committee was awarded the Carole Ann Golder Memorial Scholarship at the SGA Awards and Inauguration Luncheon on May 3, 2018. He has been involved with SGA since becoming a Senator for the Robinson College of Business in 2017. He is also a Deputy Ambassador for the Andrew Goodman Foundation's Vote Everywhere Project and is a member of the 1913 Society at Georgia State University.
