The Robert W. Sellen Scholarship In History is awarded to a qualified freshman, sophomore, or rising junior with a declared major in history and with an overall grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. This fund was created to honor the memory of Robert W. Sellen, a history professor at Georgia State.

Dr. Steve Wrigley earned a B.A. in History from Georgia State and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Lynne Wrigley earned a B.S. in Math from Georgia State.

Akinola-King 2018 Recipient of Carole Golder Memorial Scholarship
Joshua Akinola-King, Chair of SGA's Atlanta Senate Student Life Committee was awarded the Carole Ann Golder Memorial Scholarship at the SGA Awards and Inauguration Luncheon on May 3, 2018. He has been involved with SGA since becoming a Senator for the Robinson College of Business in 2017. He is also a Deputy Ambassador for the Andrew Goodman Foundation's Vote Everywhere Project and is a member of the 1913 Society at Georgia State University. The Margaret Ewing Endowment in Family Oral Histories provides a fellowship to a graduate student who is interested in pursuing research on family histories, preferably oral histories. This fund was created by William Pate (M.A., Communication, 1985) in memory of his cousin, Margaret Ewing, who had an interest in family history and studied the history of the Pate family.
