Alicia Culberson is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Master's Student Award, given in recognition of outstanding scholarship and clinical service in the communication sciences and disorders master's degree program.

Four IDEAL at GSU students with Down Syndrome received scholarships during Spring 2024 semester from the National Down Syndrome Congress, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.The National Down Syndrome Congress is dedicated to an improved world for individuals with Down syndrome. They are the leading national resource of support and information for anyone touched by or seeking to learn about Down syndrome. Each student received $500 in scholarship to go towards GSU tuition and attending the IDEAL Program. Students who received the scholarship are: Angad Sahgal, Cameron Kindree, Oluremi Ademola Dada, and Rahul Sivakumar.

The Outstanding Dissertation in Counseling Psychology Award is given in recognition of a dissertation of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of counseling psychology.

The Nell Hamilton Trotter Award recognizes an outstanding commitment to student involvement and is the highest student leadership award presented by the university.

IDEAL at Georgia State is an inclusive postsecondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities to audit classes in arts and related media departments while learning adult life skills at the university's Downtown Atlanta campus.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

The Outstanding School Psychology Student Award is given to a master's or educational specialist student in the school psychology program in recognition of initiative, leadership, advocacy and service to the school psychology profession and program.

The Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and Special Education Award is given by the Georgia State University College of Education & Human Development in recognition of excellence and scholarship in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with concentrations in preschool through grade five and special education general curriculum.

Carina Windom is the 2024 recipient of the Lorene C. Pilcher Outstanding Dissertation Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. This award is given in recognition of a dissertation of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of early childhood and elementary education.

The Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary and Early Childhood Education Award, given by the Georgia State University College of Education & Human Development in recognition of excellence and scholarship in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with a concentration in preschool through grade five.

Jessica Chatman, Jenny Douglas and LaTasha Lampkin are the 2024 recipients of the Outstanding Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. This award is given to students who have exhibited academic excellence, leadership and service in the educational leadership doctor of education program.

Christine Mattke is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Tier I Educational Leadership Student Award of Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. It is given to a student in the educational leadership program who has had an outstanding clinical experience related to K-12 leadership.

Whitney Decaminada is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Tier II Educational Leadership Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education and Human Development. This award is given to a student in the educational leadership Tier II program who has demonstrated outstanding work with site-based action research and clinical experiences.

Boshi Wang is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Research, Measurement and Statistics Ph.D. Student Award, given to a doctoral student who has exhibited academic excellence in the research, measurement and statistics program.

Kenneth Driggers is the 2024 recipient of the Social Foundations Doctoral Award for Scholarly Achievement from the Georgia State University College of Education and Human Development. This award is given in recognition of exceptional scholarly accomplishment through original publication by doctoral students in the social foundations doctoral program.

Abbey Hortenstine is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Social Foundations Graduate Teaching Assistant Award from the Georgia State University College of Education and Human Development. This award is given to a graduate teaching assistant in recognition of outstanding teaching in the classroom and in working with individual students.

Calia Howse is the 2024 recipient of the Excellence in Leadership Award, given for exceptional performance in leadership at the local, state or national level as a master's student in communication sciences and disorders.
