Georgia State University recognizes one outstanding Nutrition Coordinated Program student each year. Criteria for the award include academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and potential as a future dietetics professional.

The Outstanding Nutrition Graduate Student Award is given to a nutrition graduate student or students with outstanding academic performance and professional contributions.

Jodee Westbrooks received the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in English Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the English education master of arts in teaching program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

Madison Crickenberger received the Outstanding M.Ed. Student Award in English Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the English education master of education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

Rebecca Eswine received the Outstanding Dissertation Award in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the curriculum and instruction doctoral program.

Lauren Coumes received the Outstanding M.Ed. Student Award in Reading, Language and Literacy (Reading Specialist) from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the reading, language and literacy education master of education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

The Johnnie W. Prothro Academic Excellence Award is given to an undergraduate student in the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions who has achieved a high level of academic excellence in the nutrition program.

Molly Lance received the Outstanding Ph.D. Student in Learning Technologies Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a student who has demonstrated potential for excellence in research, teaching and service in instructional technology.

Richard Campbell received the Bradford and Patricia Ferrer Scholarship in Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Scholars Celebration. Bradford and Patricia Ferrer are Georgia State graduates and have been dedicated supporters in various roles for many years. This scholarship supports an undergraduate student preparing for a career in teaching who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Haley Wharton received the Outstanding Sport Administration Graduate Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a student who best exemplifies the ideals of the Georgia State sport administration program and shows exceptional promise as an emerging leader in the sport business industry.

Christopher L. Webber received the Outstanding Career and Technical Specializations Teacher Education Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a student who has outstanding academic results, collegiality and commitment to the mission and guiding principles of the career and technical education teacher certification program and who exemplifies the highest standards in their middle or secondary classrooms and conducts innovative activities that promote student success in their respective career and technical fields.

Brittany White received the Marie C. Keel Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in honor of the late Marie C. Keel, associate professor in the former Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education, and presented to an individual for excellence in supervision or mentoring of a student in a field placement or internship experience.

This award is given for academic excellence and participation in the health and physical education graduate degree program.

Marcel Lima received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award in Kinesiology and Health from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Kinesiology and Health (KH) who serves as an instructor in KH courses that require planning, instruction and grading, is an active participant in the KH GTA mentoring program and demonstrates excellence in teaching.

Kristina Mickel Clement received the Social Foundations Doctoral Dissertation Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding scholarly accomplishment by a doctoral student in the social foundations program through the completion of an exceptional doctoral dissertation.

Ashlee Davis received the Outstanding Dissertation Award in Kinesiology and Health from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of a dissertation that shows originality, clarity, quality of work and contributes to the field.

Georgia State University student Keiyanna Sealey-Woodard has received an honorable mention for her research paper in the 2021 Outstanding Graduate Research Paper in Anthropology Competition. Sealey-Woodard, of Acworth, is a master's degree student in Anthropology in the College of Arts & Sciences. Sealey-Woodard's paper was nominated for an honorable mention out of eleven submissions in the Department of Anthropology's Annual Outstanding Graduate Research Paper competition. The research papers are judged on originality and contribution to the discipline. The College of Arts & Sciences provides a skills-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.
