This award is given to a student who has outstanding academic results, collegiality and commitment to the mission and guiding principles of the career and technical education teacher certification program and who exemplifies the highest standards in their middle or secondary classrooms and conducts innovative activities that promote student success in their respective career and technical fields.

Rebecca Lane Eswine received the Marie C. Keel Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in honor of the late Dr. Marie C. Keel, associate professor in the former Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education, and presented to an individual for excellence in supervision or mentoring of a student in a field placement or internship experience.

This award is given in recognition of exceptional scholarly accomplishment through original publication by doctoral students in the social foundations doctoral program.

The Honors College at Georgia State University named new ambassadors for the 2020-2021 academic year. Honors College Amabassadors represent a diverse and dedicated group of outstanding honors students and are active in recruitment, alumni and campus events, where they serve as representatives of the Georgia State Honors College.

The Alonzo F. and Norris B. Herndon Human Rights Scholarship is awarded to qualified Honors College students who are engaged in advancing human rights through scholarship, research, creative work, leadership or community service.

The Empowering Excellence Award is a scholarship that recognizes high-performing, first-generation students from underrepresented groups in the Honors College at Georgia State University.

The Dugald Hudson Memorial Scholarship provides financial support for students in the Honors College at Georgia State who have overcome a significant obstacle or challenge.

The Parent's Club Award is a scholarship for students in the Honors College at Georgia State University who demonstrate their involvement in the honors community outside the classroom. The scholarship is sponsored by parents of current and graduated honors students.
