The Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate research conference which highlights and recognizes the research taking place across Georgia State's campus. The GSURC Student Planning Committee consists of nine Honors College students who assist with event planning and execution.

This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. Signal Wins Georgia College Press Association Awards
The staff of Georgia State University’s student newspaper, The Signal, took home a total of 15 awards at the Georgia College Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest Feb. 7 in Athens, Ga., recognizing excellence among student newspapers at Georgia colleges and universities. The Signal competed in Division A against some of the largest college newspapers in Georgia.

Victoria Wallace created her own year-long study abroad program in Brazil
Wallace designed her own international program by applying directly to Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado, a Brazilian higher education institution commonly referred to as FAAP, and mapping out the curriculum herself: one semester of intense Portuguese training followed by a semester of business courses taught solely in her newly learned language.

Robinson Team Wins National Black MBA Association Case Competition
A team of four students in the Flexible and Professional MBA programs at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business today won the National Black MBA Association Case Competition sponsored by Chrysler Group LLC at the group's annual meeting, held this year in Atlanta.
