This award, established in honor of Diane Caves, a graduate of the Andrew Young School's M.P.A. program who was tragically killed while working in Haiti, is given annually to a Master of Public Administration student who demonstrates academic excellence and a strong commitment to public service.

The Dean's Fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding student or students pursuing a doctoral degree in the Andrew Young School. Established in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young by The Coca-Cola Foundation, each fellowship awarded provides support for three years of doctoral study.

The University Fellows honor was established by Georgia State University to support doctoral students engaged in the research of faculty recruited to join the Andrew Young School under the Second Century Initiative. The Bobby Joe Chancey Sr. Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a rising sophomore or junior in criminal justice who is planning a career in law enforcement. It was established in honor of a distinguished law enforcement officer who served the Camden County, Georgia, Sheriff's Department for 16 years.

The Chris Perrin Memorial Scholarship

The Chris Perrin Memorial Scholarship is a merit-based award presented annually to a rising junior or senior majoring in social work or criminal justice and criminology. It was established by the Georgia Council of Juvenile Court Judges in memory of Chris Perrin, an executive director of the council and a Georgia State University alumnus.

This student is an ambassador representing the policy school and PMAP department to the greater Atlanta community

The Best Research Paper Award is presented annually to a graduate student in the Public Management and Policy program, selected by a faculty committee. Student papers were nominated by faculty on topics ranging from privatization, human resource issues in the public and private sector, public finance and financial management.
