Diana Snyder was named the first recipient of the Kirkland-Sattelmeyer Scholarship.

To be eligible for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

Ned Golubovic and Tom Murphy, two students in the College of Education's Counselor Education and Practice doctoral program, have been named 2015-2016 Chi Sigma Iota Leadership Fellows.

This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. This award is given to a junior in the program who exemplifies Mr. Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.

This award recognizes a senior undergraduate and graduate student with the highest grade point average achieved in the respiratory therapy program.

The staff of Georgia State University’s student newspaper, The Signal, took home a total of 15 awards at the Georgia College Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest Feb. 7 in Athens, Ga., recognizing excellence among student newspapers at Georgia colleges and universities. The Signal competed in Division A against some of the largest college newspapers in Georgia.
