Each year, the Capital One Academic All-America® program selects 816 distinguished student-athletes to become part of an honorary team in their respective sports -- men's football, basketball, baseball, soccer, track & field/cross-country; women's basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, track & field/cross-country; and men's and women's at-large teams that include all other NCAA championship sports.

The Atlanta Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors recognizes two students dedicated to the Internal Audit Profession and the Georgia State Chapter of the IIA.

This award recognizes student organization members for distinguished service to the organization and to the Department of Risk Management and Insurance and its activities.

The Robinson College of Business Student Organization Leadership Award recognizes student organization members who demonstrate outstanding leadership and initiative within the organization. Recipients must also exhibit ethics in leadership and mindfulness of others.

Robert W. Batten served as professor and director of Georgia State's Actuarial Science Program for 25 years. This award is presented annually to an actuarial science student in recognition of outstanding performance in actuarial mathematics.

Andrew Golub was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Risk Management and Insurance Graduate Student of the Year Award at the 2015 Honors Day Celebration.

Laura Frisbie was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Mathematical Risk Management and Insurance Graduate Student of the Year Award at the 2015 Honors Day Celebration.

The Josephine J. Isakson Scholarship is presented in memory of a prominent Atlanta-area real estate family to recognize superior academic achievement and potential. It may be awarded to either a graduate or an undergraduate student.

This annual award--sponsored by the RMI Alumni Club--recognizes a senior-level student majoring in risk management and insurance who has demonstrated academic excellence in coursework related to managing risk.

The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character--qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.

The late Dr. Eli A. Zubay co-founded Georgia State University's Actuarial Science Program in 1958. This award recognizes academic excellence and is presented annually to the undergraduate actuarial science major with the highest overall grade-point average.

The Warrick/Diaz Doctoral Scholarship Fund provides support to doctoral students in good standing in the Real Estate Department at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. Candidates are chosen by faculty nomination.

This award is in honor of Dr. Henry F. Stabler, and given to accounting graduate students with high academic qualifications.

Keith J. Perry was awarded the Stan Sonenshine Award at the 2015 Honors Day Celebration.

Each year, two outstanding accounting students with high academic achievement receive a cash award sponsored by Grant Thornton.

This fund provides scholarships to deserving students engaged in the study of real estate at Georgia State University.

The Gary Winkle Award is given in honor of Dr. Gary Winkle to a student in the Masters of Professional Accountancy program with high scholastic achievement.

The John H. Cowart Scholarship is funded by an endowment established by John H. Cowart, Sr. (John H. Cowart Properties, Inc.), this award is given annually to one or more graduate or undergraduate students in Real Estate.

This annual scholarship award by the ICSC Foundation is given to a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate real estate program who displays excellence academically and exhibits a career interest in the retail real estate sector. The recipient is selected each fall based on faculty nominations.

The Ernst & Young Excellence in Taxation Award is given to an outstanding graduate students in taxation and the recipient receives a cash award sponsored by Ernst & Young.

The Deloitte Excellence Award in International Taxation is given to a graduate student with outstanding achievement in International Aspects of Taxation (TX 8300) and receives a cash award sponsored by Deloitte.

Funded by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, the scholarship is given annually to one real estate major planning a career in commercial real estate. The selection criteria include academic achievement, extracurricular activities, communication skills, and professional commitment. The recipient is selected each fall based on faculty nominations.

The Dr. Colquitt L. "Buck" Chandler Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established by the CLC Foundation in memory of Dr. Chandler, a successful Atlanta dentist, real estate investor, and philanthropist. The scholarship is awarded to Ph.D. candidates in the Department of Real Estate.

Dexter & Karen Warrior Scholarship is awarded by Dexter and Karen Warrior to an undergraduate or graduate student who has outstanding performance in the field of real estate.

The Norman R. Harbaugh Scholastic Achievement Award is presented to the most outstanding managerial sciences major in the MBA program based on academic achievement, potential for leadership, and service to the university and the community.

Carr, Riggs & Ingram Scholarship awarded to Karan Shah and Ulugmurod Yarkulov.

Bennett Thrasher recognizes an outstanding senior involved in Beta Alpha Psi with a scholarship.

Martin Sherry Scholarship of the ABAC is awarded to a junior or senior who is majoring in Marketing with a concentration in advertising, and is based on scholastic achievement and a sincere interest and potential for success in a career in advertising. Students must be nominated by a Marketing faculty member.

Sharon Ragin was awarded the Bargainer & Associates Tax Award at the 2015 Honors day Celebration.

This scholarship recognizes individuals who are both critical thinkers and caring, competent practitioners -- characteristics personified by Professor Gordon Cummings.
