Dylan Henderson was awarded the Jack and Barbara Barber Award at the 2015 Honors Day Celebration.

Given to students in the educational leadership program who have demonstrated an outstanding ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical application in the classroom and workplace.

In recognition of an outstanding first-year teacher who views the teacher-student relationship as reciprocal and creates within the classroom a learning community which inspires the students and affirms their experiences and backgrounds.

Friends and colleagues at KMPG, LLP established this scholarship to honor John "Jay" Thomas Zellner, Sr., who passed away in 2013. Mr. Zellner was a Director of KPMG in the Atlanta office, and held a BBA from Georgia State University.

Louis Samuel Brooke, Jr., Scholarship was established through the Estate of Louis Samuel Brooke, Jr. to benefit students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

In recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the Bachelor of Science in Education program in Early Childhood Education, with a concentration in Special Education.

In recognition of an outstanding student who best demonstrates the potential for excellence in teaching and who exemplifies those characteristics which Dr. Blaney valued so highly. The recipient of this award will receive a $500 scholarship.

Mills B. Lane/Bank of America Scholarship was established in 1997 as the Mills B. Lane/Nationsbank (now Bank of America Scholarship).

In recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the Bachelor of Science in Education program in Early Childhood Education, with a concentration in English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Angela Smith (M.P.P. '15), was part of the Southeast regional winning team of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration's (NASPAA) 2015 Inaugural Student Simulation Competition on February 28, 2015. The daylong event brought together 45 teams of graduate students representing 93 participating NASPAA schools across the U.S. at five regional sites and challenged them to provide a locally led "bottom up" approach to health care reform.

Georgia State College of Law recognizes students in the current graduating class with a grade point average of 3.8 or higher. This honors designation is based on performance through the end of the previous fall semester.

This recognition is for Georgia State Law students who participated in 150 or more hours of pro bono service through April 24, 2015.

Nicholas and Anne Marie Shreiber Scholarship was established in 2011 by Mr. and Mrs. Shreiber, who are friends of Georgia State University, to provide financial support for deserving students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Mr. Shreiber is an Honorary Alumnus of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The Panthers Accelerated Consulting Experience (PACE) Scholarship was established by Mr. Ken Lewis, retired Chairman of Bank of America, and his wife Mrs. Donna Lewis to provide support for students to participate in experiential learning experiences at the Robinson College of Business.

Pickett Riggs Scholarship was established by the Young Alumni Council of the Georgia State University Alumni Association upon retirement of faculty member Pickett Riggs, to provide support for students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

The Stuart Schwarzchild Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 by Stuart Schwarzschild, Ph.D, who was an Emertius Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at Georgia State University.

The Tasca A. Moore Scholarship was established in 1973 by Mr. Moore to provide support for students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business

The Thera H. Richter Memorial Scholarship was established by Mr. Marvin O. Richter in 1998 in honor of his late wife, Thera H. Richter. This scholarship is awarded by the Honors Program in the Robinson College of Business and recognizes scholastic achievement with preference given to students participating in the Upsilon Chapter of Phi Chi theta.

In recognition of a dissertation of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of early childhood education.

Established by J. Mack Robinson, this fund provides scholarships and fellowships to students based on need and academic achievement.

Awarded to students for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of science education.

Georgia State alumna, Angela Z. Allen, and her husband, Sam, established the Zera-Allen Scholarship to provide support for undergraduate students in good academic standing in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. To be eligible for this scholarship, recipients must be first generation college students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have demonstrated strong student and/or community service experience.

Given to an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in mathematics education who is demonstrating academic excellence. The recipient will receive a $1,000 cash award.

GTA Teaching Excellence Awards are awarded for outstanding teaching performance by doctoral-level teaching assistants during the preceding calendar year (spring, summer and fall terms).

Established by Gloria Kittel to honor a student pursuing an M.Ed. in mathematics education. The purpose of the fund is to provide support to a student preparing to teach middle school mathematics by pursuing a Master of Education in mathematics education in the College of Education. The recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr. Outstanding Student award is named after Mr. H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr., past chairman of the board of Life of Georgia and a Georgia State alum. The award is presented to the outstanding undergraduate finance major over the past year. The criteria used to determine the recipient include classroom performance and recommendations from past instructors.

The Jack Dunn Scholarship award is given to an undergraduate finance major in honor of Jack Dunn, former Commissioner of Banking and Finance for the State of Georgia. The recipient of this award is chosen based on the student's academic record.

Presented to doctoral students in recognition of outstanding scholarship.

Presented to a master's student in the School of Psychology program in recognition of initiative, leadership, advocacy and service to the school psychology profession and program.

John M. Dyer First Generation Finance Scholarship award is given to provide scholarship support for first generation undergraduate students in the Department of Finance in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. The recipient must be in good academic standing at Georgia State University, be a first generation college student and have a demonstrated unmet financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
