Fulbright Student Fellowship Alternate

Noah Britton, an undergraduate student studying journalism at Georgia State University, was selected as an alternate for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The Fulbright Student Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to live and work abroad. To be competitive for the fellowship, candidates must have an excellent academic background, demonstrate leadership in their respective fields and be willing to serve as ambassadors during this cultural exchange.

Honors Thesis Pitch

Dani Davis, a senior biology major, is the winner of the Spring 2020 Honors Thesis Pitch at Georgia State University. Davis' presentation, "Conservation of the World's Most Ancient Flowering Plant Through Cryopreservation," highlighted her undergraduate project in which she is developing a long-term seed storage protocol for plant species. The Honors Thesis Pitch challenges undergraduate students to articulate their research projects in a compelling and engaging way in just three minutes or less.
