David W. Boykin Graduate Fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry

Georgia State University student Tomaya Carpenter has received the David W. Boykin Graduate Fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry. The Boykin Fellowship was established in 1999 to honor the former chair of the Department of Chemistry, David W. Boykin. It is awarded to an outstanding Ph.D. graduate student in medicinal chemistry. The College of Arts & Sciences provides a skills-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.

Georgia State University student Mohammad Ghane has received the Kenneth W. and Georganne F. Honeycutt Fellowship. Ghane, of Atlanta, is a neuroscience master's degree student in the College of Arts & Sciences. The Kenneth W. and Georganne F. Honeycutt Fellowship provides a three-year fellowship for students in the doctoral program in the Neuroscience Institute at Georgia State. Students are selected for the fellowship by a committee established by the Dean and the Director of the Neuroscience Institute. To be eligible for the fellowship, students must successfully pass the neuroscience doctoral programs qualifying exam and be ready to advance to their dissertation work. The College of Arts & Sciences provides a skills-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.
