Toccara Davenport received the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Mathematics and Science from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

The Atlanta Bar Foundation Ginny and Kelly Smith Tax Clinic Award is given to outstanding Georgia State Law students who serve in the college's Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. The clinic serves the community by representing taxpayers who are unable to afford legal representation in federal income or employment tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.

The Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law recognizes high performance in the field of health law at Georgia State University's College of Law.

The highest health law honor at Georgia State University's College of Law, this award is named for Center for Law, Health & Society founding director Charity Scott, who generously endowed the award. The Georgia Hospital Association administers the award.

The Outstanding B.I.S. in Human Learning and Development Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development is given to an undergraduate student of academic distinction who shows potential through research, community involvement and leadership by making significant contributions within the fields of human learning and development.

Eskedar Haile received the Outstanding B.S.E. Student Award in Middle Level Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development is given to an outstanding student in the middle level education bachelor of science in education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

The HeLP Legal Services Clinic Award is presented to a HeLP Clinic student who demonstrates excellent legal analysis, writing, advocacy, and professionalism in the delivery of legal services to low-income families served by the clinic.

The George M. Sparks awards recognize Georgia State's unsung heroes: faculty, staff, and students who exemplify a willingness to go the extra mile with good humor and perseverance. These were the characteristics of one of the university's most highly regarded presidents, Dr. George McIntosh Sparks, who served from 1928 to 1957. A university committee that includes past Sparks Award recipients selects the winners based on the information submitted. Faculty and staff nominees must be full-time employees who have been associated with Georgia State or Perimeter College for at least five years.

The Outer Barristers' Guild Award was established to recognize the top ten first-year students and encourage superior academic achievement at the Georgia State University College of Law.

The Al Baumstark Award in Chemistry supports undergraduate chemistry students conducting research in their junior or senior year, especially students who plan to pursue graduate school.

The Bailey M. Wade Memorial Scholarship is awarded to support graduate students who demonstrate need, merit, and career goals in keeping with those manifested in the life of Bailey M. Wade during his life and tenure with the psychology department.

The Faculty Recognition Award is presented to graduating respiratory therapy students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a positive professional attitude and a willingness to serve the needs of classmates, the community, and the profession of respiratory therapy.

This award recognizes the students who have made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Physical Therapy and who exhibit potential of becoming significant contributors to the field of physical therapy research.

This award is given to graduating students with a grade point average of 4.0 in the physical therapy program.

This award recognizes the Occupational Thearpy student who has made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Occupational Therapy and who exhibits the potential of becoming a significant contributor to the field of occupational therapy research.

This award is given to the Occupational Therapy student who maintains the structure and integrity of the class. This student has a strong commitment to the occupational therapy profession, is an avid patient advocate and is respected by faculty and peers.

This award is given to the graduating student in occupational therapy who personifies great character through leadership, community service and overall personal integrity and academic history.

This award is given to the occupational therapy student who has most actively participated in professional activities within the community, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The Occupational Therapy Leadership Excellence Award goes to the student who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to their class and maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The Occupational Therapy Academic Excellence Award is given to a graduating second year student with a GPA of 4.0 in the occupational therapy program who also exhibits overall academic excellence.

The Sara M. Hunt Clinical Excellence Award is given to a Coordinated Program student who has displayed outstanding performance in the clinical setting.

The Johnnie W. Prothro Academic Excellence Award is given to an undergraduate student in the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions who has achieved a high level of academic excellence in the nutrition program.

Georgia State University recognizes one outstanding nutrition Coordinated Program student each year. Criteria for the award include academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and potential as a future dietetics professional.

The Nursing Student Service Award recognizes a student for outstanding service as the student representative to the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.

The Nursing Student Leadership Award recognizes a student who has demonstrated initiative, motivation, dedication, and strong commitment to a Georgia State nursing student program or organization. This award is given to a student who demonstrates leadership abilities both within and outside of Georgia State University.
