The Diane B. Davis Award
This award was established in memory of Diane B. Davis, who exemplified high standards of professional practice. Vermilya was selected to receive the award for demonstrating a consistency of competency and creativity in social work while maintaining at or above a 3.75 grade point average.

James Ancil Lewis Award
This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. This award is given to a junior in the program who exemplifies Mr. Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.
