Floyd S. Harper Actuarial Science Award
The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character--qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.
