J. Mack Robinson Scholarship Received at the Honors Day Celebration.

This award is given to provide scholarship support for first generation undergraduate students in the Department of Finance in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. The recipient must be in good academic standing at Georgia State University, be a first generation college student and have a demonstrated unmet financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.

This award is given to undergraduate finance majors in honor of Jack Dunn, former Commissioner of Banking and Finance for the State of Georgia. The recipient of this award is chosen based on the student's academic record.

This award is named after Mr. H. Talmage Dobbs, Jr., past chairman of the board of Life of Georgia and a Georgia State alum. The award is presented to the outstanding undergraduate finance major over the past year. The criteria used to determine the recipient include classroom performance and recommendations from past instructors.

Bennett Thrasher recognizes an outstanding senior involved in Beta Alpha Psi with a cash award.

An outstanding accounting student with high academic achievement receives a cash award from BDO USA LLP.

Bargainer Scholarship

The Atlanta Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors recognizes students dedicated to the Internal Audit Profession and the Georgia State Chapter of the IIA.

Outstanding Risk Management and Insurance Graduate Student of the Year Award

This annual award recognizes a graduating mathematical risk management student who has demonstrated academic excellence in graduate-level coursework and whose efforts have enhanced the quality of education for other students in the mathematical risk management program.

The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character--qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.

Charles A. Williams Scholarship

Scholarship for doctoral students enrolled full-time at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business Institute of International Business. Students must demonstrate academic achievement in teaching.

The Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) Scholarship recipients were recognized at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business Honors Day Celebration.

This scholarship was established in 2013 by Georgia State University alumnus Rahim Charania, in honor of his father Barkat Charania, whose greatest passion is for increasing the availability for young people to receive a quality education.

CALI recognizes students who receive the highest grade in each section of each course each semester.

Awarded to a student who has demonstrated an excellent academic record and a keen interest in dispute resolution.

KPMG recognizes two outstanding undergraduate students and two outstanding graduate students with a cash award.

The Rozelle Outstanding Programmer Award is named for James P. Rozelle, a former faculty member of the CIS Department at Georgia State University. It honors undergraduate students in the CIS program with the most outstanding academic record in the programming courses. Winners receive a cash award, and their names are engraved on a plaque that hangs in the lobby of the CIS Department.

The Cotterman Outstanding Student award is named for William C. Cotterman, the first chairman of the CIS Department at Georgia State University. It honors graduate students in the MS-CIS program with the most outstanding academic record. Winners receive a cash award, and their names are engraved on a plaque that hangs in the lobby of the CIS Department.

The Bergeron scholarship is awarded to undergraduate female students in the CIS or Computer Science program who have expressed or demonstrated high potential for leadership careers in technology. The scholarship-mentorship program provides for a tuition award and a one-on-one mentor relationship with a leader from the technology industry. Given to outstanding students in the Language and Literacy discipline of middle and secondary education. Recipients are chosen by faculty based on academic achievement, teaching, expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

Given to a student who has outstanding academic results, collegiality and commitment to the mission and guiding principles of the healthcare science teacher education teacher certification program. The recipient of this award also exemplifies the highest standards in their middle or secondary classrooms, and conduct innovative activities that promote student success in healthcare fields.
