Georgia State University

Originally established by Wachovia Foundation, this scholarship was renamed the Wells Fargo - J. Mack Robinson College of Business Scholarship in 2015. The scholarship provides support to an undergraduate student majoring in any discipline within the Robinson College of Business.

The Spurgeon Richardson Scholarship in Hospitality Leadership is in honor of Spurgeon Richardson, a well-known leader in Atlanta's hospitality community. Richardson served as president and CEO of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau for 17 years. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

Established in 2013 through a lead gift from GSU alumnus Lamar Smith, and other GSU alumni and friends in memory of Dr. David A. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz was a professor of marketing in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, and was considered a leading American authority on motivation.

A Master's of Professional Accountancy student with high academic achievement receives a cash award in honor of Dr. John W. Cook.

An outstanding Masters of Professional Accountancy student who has excelled in Systems receives a cash award in honor of the retired Director of the School of Accountancy, Dr. L. Eugene Berry.

Annually, in honor of Dr. Kathryn C. Buckner, PriceWaterhouseCoopers select an outstanding student to receive a scholarship based on accounting achievements and application to or enrollment in the Masters of Professional Accountancy or Masters of Taxation programs at Georgia State University.

This scholarship was funded by GSU alumni Connie and Ken McDaniel to support undergraduate students who are enrolled in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business School of Accountancy. The recipients must be in good academic standing at Georgia State University, and have a GPA of 3.5 or above.

This award was established to reward an outstanding student enrolled in the One-Year MPA program.

Established in 2012 by GSU alumni Edie and Tim Twomey to provide financial support for accounting majors in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

A graduate student with outstanding achievement in Tax Research (TX 8030) receives a cash award sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The School of Accountancy at Georgia State University set up a scholarship fund to recognize outstanding undergraduate students intending on pursuing their graduate degrees in accounting.

Annual award for graduate students enrolled full-time at Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Students must have a minimum 3.75 GPA, financial need, have completed a minimum of 27 semester hours of graduate coursework, and be pursuing a career in business.

Established in 1990 by the Hannah Family in memory of Homer R. Hannah, an alumnus of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Williams Benator & Libby recognize two outstanding accounting majors with high academic standing with cash awards.

Outstanding accounting students receive a scholarship in honor of William Lee Burge.

Established by Mr. Starks in 1992 to provide financial support for deserving students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

This scholarship is named in honor of Michael Jay Jedel, a former associate dean of the Robinson College of Business and director of the W.T.Beebe Institute of Personnel and Employment Relations. It is presented annually to an M.S. or M.B.A. student who exhibits high standards of academic achievement, strong commitment to the human resources field, and outstanding leadership potential.

The William P. Key Scholarship was established in honor of the late William P. "Bill" Key in recognition of his outstanding contribution and support to the Beebe Institute. The scholarship is awarded annually to the student who has demonstrated superior academic performance in the Personnel and Employment Relations Master's program. No application is required.

The William T. Rutherford scholarship is an annual scholarship. Applications may be made through the W.T. Beebe Institute of Personnel and Employment Relations by January 31.

Friends and colleagues at KMPG, LLP established this scholarship to honor John "Jay" Thomas Zellner, Sr., who passed away in 2013. Mr. Zellner was a Director of KPMG in the Atlanta office, and held a BBA from GSU.

Louis Samuel Brooke Scholarship

The late Dr. Eli A. Zubay co-founded Georgia State University's Actuarial Science Program in 1958. This award recognizes academic excellence and is presented annually to the undergraduate actuarial science major with the highest overall grade-point average.

The Atlanta Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors recognizes students dedicated to the Internal Audit Profession and the Georgia State Chapter of the IIA.

The Dr. Colquitt L. "Buck" Chandler Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established by the CLC Foundation in memory of Dr. Chandler, a successful Atlanta dentist, real estate investor, and philanthropist. The scholarship is awarded to a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Real Estate, selected by a committee that includes the department chair.
