This award is given to students who have demonstrated academic achievement, have strong leadership skills, and strong potential as future health IT professionals.

This award is given by the faculty to a graduating senior and master's candidate. The award recognizes a student(s) who has (have) displayed outstanding performance in clinical rotations.

This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. This award is given to a junior(s) in the program who exemplifies Mr. Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.

This award recognizes a graduating Respiratory Therapy student or students with the highest GPA achieved in the respiratory therapy progam.

The Faculty Recognition Award is presented to graduating respiratory therapy students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a positive professional attitude and a willingness to serve the needs of classmates, the community, and the profession of respiratory therapy.

The Respiratory Therapy Student Service Award is presented to a graduating respiratory therapy student or students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a willingness to provide service to the department's outreach efforts.

This award recognizes the students who have made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Physical Therapy and who exhibit potential of becoming significant contributors to the field of physical therapy research.

This award is given to the individual in the Department of Physical Therapy who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to his or her class.

This award is given to graduating students with a grade point average of 4.0 in the physical therapy program.

This award is given to the occupational therapy student who has most actively participated in professional activities within the community, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

This award recognizes the Occupational Thearpy student who has made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Occupational Therapy and who exhibits the potential of becoming a significant contributor to the field of occupational therapy research.

This award is given to the graduating student in occupational therapy who personifies great character through leadership, community service and overall personal integrity and academic history.

This award is given to the Occupational Therapy student who maintains the structure and integrity of the class. This student has a strong commitment to the occupational therapy profession, is an avid patient advocate and is respected by faculty and peers.

The Occupational Therapy Leadership Excellence Award goes to the student who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to his or her class and maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The Occupational Therapy Academic Excellence Award is given to a graduating second year student with a GPA of 4.0 in the occupational therapy program who also exhibits overall academic excellence.

This award is given to an undergraduate student or students with outstanding academic performance, demonstrated leadership and potential as a future dietetics professional.

The Johnnie W. Prothro Academic Excellence Award is given to an undergraduate student in the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions who has achieved a high level of academic excellence in the nutrition program.

The Sara M. Hunt Clinical Excellence Award is given to a Coordinated Program student who has displayed outstanding performance in the clinical setting.

Georgia State University recognizes one outstanding Nutrition Coordinated Program student each year. Criteria for the award include academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and potential as a future dietetics professional.

The Outstanding Nutrition Graduate Student Award is given to a nutrition graduate student or students with outstanding academic performance and professional contributions.

The Robert "Pete" Pullen Jr. Scholarship in Analytical Chemistry was established to provide scholarships to M.S. and/or Ph.D. level students who are pursuing or intend to pursue a degree in Chemistry with a specialization in analytical chemistry with the College of Arts & Sciences.

The Al Baumstark Award in Chemistry supports students pursuing doctoral degrees in chemistry and is inspired by organic chemistry Professor Al Baumstark's commitment to increasing student diversity in science.

The faculty and alumni of the Chemistry Department have established the Al Baumstark Graduate Award in Chemistry endowed fund in honor of organic chemistry Professor Al Baumstark. The Al Baumstark Award in Chemistry supports students pursuing doctoral degrees in chemistry and is inspired by organic chemistry Professor Baumstark's commitment to increasing student diversity in science.

The Ahmed T. Abdelal Fellowship in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology is given to outstanding doctoral students for achievement in the field of molecular genetics or biotechnology. This award is named in honor of former Dean Ahmed T. Abdelal, who established the molecular genetics and biotechnology program at Georgia State University.

Georgia State University student Scarlett Mayoralgo has been awarded the Robert L. Blakely Endowed Scholarship in Anthropology. Mayoralgo, of Centerville, is a senior anthropology major in the College of Arts & Sciences. The Robert L. Blakely Endowed Scholarship in Anthropology recognizes an anthropology senior who shows strong potential in the field of anthropology. The scholarship is given in memory of Dr. Blakely's contribution to anthropological education.

Georgia State University student Savannah Setter has been awarded the Jeremy Gillen Memorial Scholarship. Setter, of Fayetteville, is a senior anthropology major in the College of Arts & Sciences. The Jeremy Gillen Memorial Scholarship in Anthropology recognizes a senior major who shows strong potential in the field of anthropology. The scholarship is given in memory of Mr. Gillen and his enthusiasm for anthropology.

The mission of the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society is to recognize, reward, and encourage academic excellence in the study of healthcare management and policy.

The purpose of this award is to provide support to PhD students in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Department of Finance at Georgia State University.
