Ann Olton, a graduate student studying anthropology, was selected as an alternate for the Fulbright Student Fellowship as an English Teaching Assistant. The Fulbright Student Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to live and work abroad. To be competitive for the fellowship, candidates must have an excellent academic background, demonstrate leadership in their respective fields and be willing to serve as ambassadors during this cultural exchange.

Johnson received the Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary and Special Education Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with a concentration in special education.

Afiya Charaniya received the Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary Education and ESOL Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with a concentration in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Brittany Waltz received the Megan Gaddis Life Toucher Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding first-year teachers who view the teacher-student relationship as reciprocal and create within the classroom a learning community which inspires the students and affirms their experiences and backgrounds.

Two students received the Lorene C. Pilcher Outstanding Dissertation Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of dissertations of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of early childhood and elementary education.

This award is presented to a master's student in the school psychology program in recognition of initiative, leadership, advocacy and service to the school psychology profession and program.

This award is presented to a master's student in the rehabilitation counseling program in recognition of a strong commitment to the profession and advocating for people with disabilities.

Three students received the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award in Counseling and Psychological Services from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is presented to doctoral students in recognition of academic performance, service to the department and professional promise.

Sumayyah Muhammad received the Outstanding B.S.E. Student Award in Middle Level Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the middle level education bachelor of science in education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

This award is presented to master's students in the mental health counseling program in recognition of leadership, service, advocacy, scholarship and mentorship.

This award is given for exceptional performance in research involvement as a master's student in communication sciences and disorders.

Caitlin Ray received the Outstanding B.I.S. in Human Learning and Development Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. This award is given to an undergraduate student of academic distinction who shows potential through research, community involvement and leadership by making significant contributions within the fields of human learning and development.

The Graduate Award Endowment provides awards to deserving graduate students in Psychology.

The Laurie House Hopkins Scholarship in Global Studies was established by Georgia State alumna Laurie Eileen House to provide undergraduate scholarships to students in the Global Studies Institute of the College of Arts & Sciences.

The Harold V. and Anna Marie Little Scholarship in Gerontology is given in honor of Harold V. Little and in memory of Anna Marie Little by their family. This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding entering or first-year master's degree student.

The Thomas and Wendy Reiman Endowed Scholarship provides support to undergraduates who have reached the junior or senior level in the College of Arts and Sciences and are majoring in the humanities.

The Lee Project Endowed Scholarship is named in memory of Lee Lowery III. Allison Webb created the Lee Project Scholarship. Lee was a sophomore at Georgia State University and graduated from Grady High School where he was a scholar athlete. This scholarship is given to a high achieving student who has experienced a form of adversity or tragedy. The recipient must have also graduated from a Georgia public high school with preference given to graduates from Grady High School.
