Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions Office of Research, provides graduate students in nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and respiratory therapy the opportunity to exhibit their research in a poster presentation to colleagues in the university. First, second, third place and honorable mention are selected by a panel of judges from disciplines across the university.

Georgia State University's Julia Watzek is the lead author of a research paper published in the journal Scientific Reports. Watzek, of Atlanta, is a Ph.D. candidate in psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. Watzek holds a master's degree in Psychology from Georgia State University. Watzek's research is titled "Capuchin and rhesus monkeys but not humans show cognitive flexibility in an optional-switch task."
