Erin Halstead Receives a Public Management and Policy Scholarship
The Public Management and Policy (PMAP) Scholarship is awarded annually to one or more outstanding incoming M.P.A. and M.P.P. students. Recipients must maintain full-time and good standing status in the graduate program and serve as graduate research assistants in the PMAP department.

The Chris Perrin Memorial Scholarship
Shared by the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies' Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and the School of Social Work, this merit-based scholarship is presented annually to a rising junior or senior majoring in each area. It was established by the Georgia Council of Juvenile Court Judges in memory of Chris Perrin, executive director of the council and an alumnus of Georgia State University.

Ronald Shanderson Receives Goldwater Scholarship
Ronald Shanderson, a Georgia State University Honors College member and biology major who is from Marietta, Georgia, has received the 2015 Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship. Shanderson was among 283 recipients selected from a field of 1,206 candidates nationwide to receive this prestigious scholarship.
