The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF) is committed to building tomorrow's hotel industry and the talent to fuel it. AH&LAEF Cecil B. Day Scholarship is funded by the AH&LEF and recipients are chosen by faculty from J. Mack Robinson College of Business and Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality.

This scholarship was established by Mrs. and Mr. McDaniel to reward outstanding undergraduate students in the School of Accountancy with high academic achievement.

The Barkat Charania Scholarship was established in 2013 by Georgia State University alumnus Rahim Charania, in honor of his father Barkat Charania, whose greatest passion is for increasing the availability for young people to receive a quality education.

The R. J. Knobel Scholarship was established upon Dr. Roland "Knob" Knobel's retirement in 1985, after teaching in the institute since 1970. This award is given to MHA students based on academic performance, and to recognize those who have achieved distinction through professional and community activities.

This scholarship, established by Stanley M. Baum in honor of Robert H. Shulman, rewards outstanding undergraduate or graduate students who have high academic achievement.

The Cindy & Jeff Warwick Scholarship for Real Estate students provides support to undergraduate and graduate level students who are pursuing a degree in Real Estate at Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

This scholarship was established in memory of the founder of Days Inn and the namesake of the School of Hospitality. It is awarded to hospitality majors based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

Awarded to two outstanding doctoral students in the School of Accountancy. Dr. Catherine Miles served as Chairman of the Accounting Department at GSU from 1955 to 1976 and was one of the founders of the GSU chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the accountancy honor society.

This scholarship, established to honor Robinson College alumnus Homer R. Hannah, rewards an outstanding undergraduate junior or senior with high academic achievement.

Funded by an endowment established by John H. Cowart, Sr. (John H. Cowart Properties, Inc.), this award is given annually to one or more real estate graduate or undergraduate students to pursue promising research under the direction of faculty in the Department of Real Estate. Both merit and need of candidates are evaluated.

This scholarship was established by State Farm to reward outstanding undergraduate students with high academic achievement, with a preference for Risk Management & Insurance majors.

Founded in 2009, AHA provides a forum for networking and professional development to Atlanta-area hotel owners, developers, operators, franchisors and professional service providers. This scholarship is presented to a hospitality major based on career interest in hotel development or management, academic achievement, school and community involvement, and work experience.

This scholarship was established by Mr. Armand Balsano to reward outstanding students with high academic achievement.

This scholarship was established by the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Starks to reward outstanding rising juniors or seniors with high academic achievement.

The national Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, which awards students up to $120,000 to complete their undergraduate education. Two students in Georgia received the award.

This scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate Sociology student. This endowment was created by Margaret Andersen (B.A. Sociology, 1970) and her husband, Richard Rosenfeld. The scholarship was established by Hart's family in memory of former Georgia State English professor Dabney Adams Hart. Hart served as Director of the Writing Center and as Chair of the Sophomore Curriculum Committee. The annual award for the best essay by a sophomore is named in her honor. This scholarship is awarded to a qualified freshman, sophomore, or rising junior with a declared major in history and with an overall grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. This fund was created to honor the memory of Robert W. Sellen, a history professor at Georgia State. The Fred Massey Endowed Scholarship was created to honor Fred Massey, professor emeritus and former chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Georgia State. Alana Owens received the Karen and George McCarty Scholarship from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Scholars Celebration. This scholarship was established by Karen McCarty, a two-time graduate of Georgia State University, and is given to a graduate student in the clinical mental health counseling program and/or school counseling program to build their networks, knowledge and skills by attending local, state and national professional conferences related to their area of counseling expertise.

Several students received the Kenneth and Mary Matheny Professional in Counseling and Psychology Scholarship from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Scholars Celebration. This award, established by Ken Matheny, a faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services for 45 years, and his wife, Mary Matheny, is given to full-time doctoral students in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services.
