The Concierge Society of Atlanta presents this scholarship to a hospitality major with work experience in the hotel industry in a concierge or guest service capacity.

The purpose of the Marketing Roundtable Minority Endowed Scholarship is to provide scholarships to underrepresented minority students currently enrolled in marketing courses in the College of Business Administration, with high academic standing, and with a high probability of success in a career in marketing. Qualified students will have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.

The Margaret Lupo Scholarship in Restaurant Management is in memory of Margaret Lupo, founder and owner of Mary Mac's Tea Room. Margaret Lupo was a leading restaurant entrepreneur and known for her southern hospitality. It is awarded to a student who is majoring in hospitality with a restaurant management focus. Selection is also based on academic achievement, work experience and restaurant industry involvement.

Max G. Holland Memorial Scholarship

The Max G. Holland Memorial Scholarship is presented annually to the student with the highest grade-point average after completing at least 30 hours in the CAHME-accredited graduate program in health administration. The scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Max Holland, who was on the faculty of the institute from 1976 to 1989.

Mrs. Tommie Jackson Scholarship

The Mrs. Tommie Jackson Scholarship, established by Realtors, honors Mrs. Tommie Jackson, executive vice president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors. The earnings from this fund are to be used to provide one or more scholarships each year for outstanding students majoring in real estate. The criteria for selection are scholarship, achievement, and an expression of a sincere interest in a professional career in real estate.

Rama Hotel Scholaship (AH&LEF)

JHM Hotels, Inc. established the Rama Scholarship for the American Dream with a $1,000,001 endowment. The five Rama brothers, principals in the company, emigrated from India to pursue their American Dream. It began with the ownership of one lodging property and grew into a successful operation of 40 properties with 6,520 rooms and more than 1,500 associates. The fund, established on the 25th anniversary of the brothers' first hotel purchase, encourages others to create their own American Dream.

A native Atlantan, William Lee Burge started working as a teenager in the mailroom of the Retail Credit Company and later rose to become the company's Chairman of the Board. The company is known today as Equifax.
