This award is given to the graduating student in occupational therapy who personifies high character articulation through leadership, community service and overall personal integrity and academic history.

This award is given to the student who has most actively participated in professional activities within the community, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

This award recognizes the Occupatonal Thearpy student who has made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Occupational Therapy and who exhibits the potential of becoming a significant contributor to the field of occupational therapy research.

This award is presented to a graduating respiratory therapy student or students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a willingness to provide service to the department's outreach efforts.

The Nursing Student Leadership Award recognizes a student who has demonstrated initiative, motivation, dedication, and strong commitment to a Georgia State nursing student program or organization. This award is given to a student who demonstrates leadership abilities both within and outside of Georgia State University.

This award recognizes students who have made outstanding research contributions, have become a role model for other students and have exhibited potential of becoming a significant contributor to the nursing profession.

Isaac King, a Georgia State University Perimeter College computer science student, was honored for is work in community service projects during the 2018 Georgia State University Perimeter College Honors Day ceremony. King, a graduate of MLK Jr. High School, is student president of the Mentoring Initiative for New Americans and is an advisor to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. He also is the vice president of the Clarkston Computer and Engineering Club.

Amadou Bah, a Georgia State University Perimeter College student studying engineering, was recognized with the Student Leadership Excellence Award during the 2018 Perimeter College Honors Award Ceremony. He was described as the "epitome of a student leader" who tutors classmates across a majority of Perimeter College's STEM curriculums. Bah also was named the national Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Scholar for the college.

Sarah Garner was recognized with an award as a top Business and Economics student for her academic standing and community service during the 2018 Georgia State University Perimeter Honors Day Ceremony.

Rebecca Maldonado, a Perimeter College student studying Kinesiology and Health, was honored for her academic achievement and civic engagement during the 2018 Georgia State University Perimeter College Honors Day celebration.

The award recongizes an individual student who has actively demonstrated attributes of a leader through his/her actions and character.
