Nicolas Ardila was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Risk Management and Insurance Graduate Student of the Year Award at the 2015 Honors Day Celebration.

This annual award recognizes a graduating mathematical risk management student who has demonstrated academic excellence in graduate-level coursework and whose efforts have enhanced the quality of education for other students in the mathematical risk management program.

The late Dr. Floyd S. Harper joined Georgia State's faculty in 1958 and was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance's Actuarial Science Program. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in actuarial science in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and character-qualities that Dr. Harper strove to develop in his students.

The GTA Teaching Excellence Awards are awarded for outstanding teaching performance by doctoral-level teaching assistants during the preceding calendar year (spring, summer and fall terms).

Perimeter College students in 21 disciplines are eligible for student academic honors. While each discipline has its own appropriate criteria by which nominees are consider and selected, all academic honors recipients represent a decision by faculty that the student's academic results and progress, activities and pursuits and overall attitude and engagement are truly outstanding in that specific discipline.

The Occupational Therapy Academic Excellence Award is given to a graduating second year student with a GPA of 4.0 in the occupational therapy program who also exhibits overall academic excellence.

The Occupational Therapy Leadership Excellence Award goes to the student who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to his or her class and maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

This award is given to graduating students with a grade point average of 4.0 in the physical therapy program.

The Keystone Award is given to a student or students who, through example, maintain the structure and integrity of the class. Awardees demonstrate a strong commitment to the physical therapy profession, are avid patient advocates, and are respected by faculty and peers.

This award is given to the individual in the Department of Physical Therapy who provides ongoing, dynamic leadership and guidance to his or her class.

The Respiratory Therapy Student Service Award is presented to a graduating respiratory therapy student or students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a willingness to provide service to the department's outreach efforts.

The Faculty Recognition Award is presented to graduating respiratory therapy students who, in the opinion of the faculty, exhibit a positive professional attitude and a willingness to serve the needs of classmates, the community, and the profession of respiratory therapy.

This award is given to the student who has most actively participated in professional activities within the community, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

This award is given to the graduating student in occupational therapy who personifies great character through leadership, community service and overall personal integrity and academic history.

This award is given to the Occupational Therapy student who maintains the structure and integrity of the class. This student has a strong commitment to the occupational therapy profession, is an avid patient advocate and is respected by faculty and peers.

This award recognizes the Occupatonal Thearpy student who has made an outstanding contribution to the research efforts of the Department of Occupational Therapy and who exhibits the potential of becoming a significant contributor to the field of occupational therapy research.

This award, given by the U.S. Army, supports the nursing education of worthy students who are U.S. citizens in an accredited baccalaureate or graduate nursing or anesthesia program.

This award recognizes students who have made outstanding research contributions, have become a role model for other students and have exhibited potential of becoming a significant contributor to the nursing profession.

The Nursing Student Leadership Award recognizes a student who has demonstrated initiative, motivation, dedication, and strong commitment to a Georgia State nursing student program or organization. This award is given to a student who demonstrates leadership abilities both within and outside of Georgia State University.

Galacyale Alasow is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Mathematics and Science.

Sharnese Vaughn is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Language Arts and Social Studies.

Afifa Avril is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding M.Ed. Student Award in Science Education.

Linzi Bullard is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Mathematics Education.

Courtney Wade is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding B.S.E. Student Award in Middle Level Education.

Susan Cannon is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award in Mathematics Education.

Suzanna Roman is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award in Science Education.

Matthew Lee Lundy is the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding M.A.T. Student Award in Language and Literacy Education - English Education.
