Two students received the Outstanding Research, Measurement and Statistics Ph.D. Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to doctoral students who have exhibited academic excellence in the research, measurement and statistics program.

The Empowering Excellence Award is a scholarship that recognizes high-performing, first-generation students from underrepresented groups in the Honors College at Georgia State University.

The Parent's Club Award is a scholarship for students in the Honors College at Georgia State University who demonstrate their involvement in the honors community outside the classroom. The scholarship is sponsored by parents of current and graduated honors students.

Deborah Santa, graduate student studying applied linguistics at Georgia State University, was selected as an alternate for the Fulbright Student Fellowship, English Teaching Assistant Award. The Fulbright Student Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to live and work abroad. To be competitive for the fellowship, candidates must have an excellent academic background, demonstrate leadership in their respective fields and be willing to serve as ambassadors during this cultural exchange.

Kiara Henry, an undergraduate studying journalism at Georgia State University, was selected as an alternate by the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The Fulbright Student Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to live and work abroad. To be competitive for the fellowship, candidates must have an excellent academic background, demonstrate leadership in their respective fields and be willing to serve as ambassadors during this cultural exchange.

Brock Robert Holley received the Outstanding Educational Leadership Graduate Assistant Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to a graduate assistant in recognition of outstanding service to the unit and field of educational leadership.

Three students received the Outstanding Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to students who have exhibited academic excellence, leadership and service in the educational leadership doctor of education program.

Johnson received the Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary and Special Education Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with a concentration in special education.

Afiya Charaniya received the Outstanding Undergraduate in Elementary Education and ESOL Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the educational community in the bachelor of science in education program in elementary education with a concentration in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Brittany Waltz received the Megan Gaddis Life Toucher Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of outstanding first-year teachers who view the teacher-student relationship as reciprocal and create within the classroom a learning community which inspires the students and affirms their experiences and backgrounds.

Two students received the Lorene C. Pilcher Outstanding Dissertation Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given in recognition of dissertations of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of early childhood and elementary education.

Carrie Lorig received the Outstanding School Psychology Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is presented to a master's student in the school psychology program in recognition of initiative, leadership, advocacy and service to the school psychology profession and program.

Megan Crawford received the Outstanding School Counseling Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is presented to a master's student in the school counseling program in recognition of initiative, leadership, advocacy and service to the school counseling profession and program.

Kenyatta B. Wheeler received the Outstanding Rehabilitation Counseling Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is presented to a master's student in the rehabilitation counseling program in recognition of a strong commitment to the profession and advocating for people with disabilities.

Three students received the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award in Counseling and Psychological Services from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is presented to doctoral students in recognition of academic performance, service to the department and professional promise.

Sumayyah Muhammad received the Outstanding B.S.E. Student Award in Middle Level Education from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given to an outstanding student in the middle level education bachelor of science in education program based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence.

This award is presented to master's students in the mental health counseling program in recognition of leadership, service, advocacy, scholarship and mentorship.

This award is given in recognition of a master's thesis of especially high quality and potential impact in the field of communication sciences and disorders.

Annie Counts received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given for exceptional performance in academic coursework in communication sciences and disorders.

Jodi Sampson received the Excellence in Research Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration. This award is given for exceptional performance in research involvement as a master's student in communication sciences and disorders.

Allie Doulin received the Excellence in Leadership Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development as part of its annual Honors Day celebration.

Caitlin Ray received the Outstanding B.I.S. in Human Learning and Development Student Award from Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. This award is given to an undergraduate student of academic distinction who shows potential through research, community involvement and leadership by making significant contributions within the fields of human learning and development.

The Graduate Award Endowment provides awards to deserving graduate students in Psychology.

The Harold V. and Anna Marie Little Scholarship in Gerontology is given in honor of Harold V. Little and in memory of Anna Marie Little by their family. This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding entering or first-year master's degree student.

The Thomas and Wendy Reiman Endowed Scholarship provides support to undergraduates who have reached the junior or senior level in the College of Arts and Sciences and are majoring in the humanities.

The Lee Project Endowed Scholarship is named in memory of Lee Lowery III. Allison Webb created the Lee Project Scholarship. Lee was a sophomore at Georgia State University and graduated from Grady High School where he was a scholar athlete. This scholarship is given to a high achieving student who has experienced a form of adversity or tragedy. The recipient must have also graduated from a Georgia public high school with preference given to graduates from Grady High School.

Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies has recognized more than 100 students this spring for earning academic awards, scholarships and fellowships during the 2019-20 academic year.
