The Kay C. Craigie Student Support Fund Scholarship is awarded to academically successful philosophy majors who face financial barriers to realizing their dreams. The award was created with the generous support of Kay Craigie.

The Arlene and Alvin Altman Endowment in Philosophy provides scholarships to students who achieve at the highest scholastic level in the Philosophy Department.

The Margaret L. Andersen Scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate Sociology student. This endowment was created by Dr. Margaret Andersen (B.A. Sociology, 1970) and her husband, Richard Rosenfeld.

The Mary M. MacKinnon Endowed Scholarship in Gerontology is a scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate great passion for hands-on work with the aging community. Students must be in good standing and have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher to be considered for the award. This fund was created by family and friends to honor Mary M. MacKinnon, one of the founders of the graduate studies program in Gerontology at Georgia State University.

The Carol Rowe Jones and Waymon Jones Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding entering or first-year master's degree student in Gerontology.

The Vicki York Fair Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior journalism major with an emphasis in public relations who has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism, high ethical standards, devotion to the profession of public relations, and outstanding academic achievement. This fund was established to honor the memory of Vicki York Fair, who was a public relations specialist for the Georgia Board of Regents.

The Terry. F Baker Memorial Scholarship was established by friends to honor the memory of Terry Barker, a former journalism student and sports writer for the Gwinnett Daily News. It is awarded to an outstanding journalism major specializing in news writing.

The Master of Education in Mathematics Education Award is given to a student preparing to teach middle school mathematics and who is currently pursuing a Master of Education in mathematics education degree.

The Jerry Robbins Endowed Scholarship in Mathematics is given to a student majoring and excelling in mathematics with a focus in teacher preparation. The award is named for Jerry H. Robbins, who previously served as a faculty member and dean of the College of Education & Human Development.

The Excellence in Mathematics Teaching Award is given to an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in mathematics education who demonstrates academic excellence.

The Bradford and Patricia Ferrer Scholarship in Middle Childhood Education is given to a student majoring and excelling in middle level education. It was established by Bradford and Patricia Ferrer, Georgia State graduates who have been dedicated supporters of the university for many years.

The Bradford and Patricia Ferrer Scholarship in Education is given to an undergraduate student preparing for a career in teaching who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher. It was established by Bradford and Patricia Ferrer, Georgia State graduates who have been dedicated supporters of the university for many years.

The Mary Helen Huggins Memorial Scholarship in Sport Administration is given to active graduate students in sport administration at Georgia State University's College of Education and Human Development. As the former Marketing Services Director for the Atlanta Braves and faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology and Health, Mary Helen Huggins dedicated herself to and attained a high level of integrity and personal ethics.

The Beverly J. Armento Endowed Doctoral Award supports doctoral students in middle and secondary education, and was established by Dr. Armento, a Georgia State University research professor of social studies education who served on the College of Education & Human Development faculty from 1975 to 2003. She committed her career to the preparation of exemplary teachers - ones who believe in the power of each child to be successful in their lives.

The Adell Street Adams Memorial Scholarship supports an exceptional student pursuing a degree in science education. Vivian Street established this scholarship in memory of her sister, Georgia State University alumna and celebrated high school chemistry teacher Adell Street Adams.

The Nicholas R. Castricone Memorial Scholarship is given to an undergraduate or graduate student studying intellectual disabilities.

The Glenn A. Vergason Scholarship for Special Education is given to graduate students who are pursuing an M.Ed. or Ph.D. in the Department of Learning Sciences with plans to teach or serve those students in special education who have behavioral disorders.

Kaylyn Nix is the 2019 recipient of the Dr. Cynthia Kuhlman and Dr. Wayne Sengstock Scholarship.

The Joanne R. Nurss Endowed Scholarship in Life-Long Literacy is given to graduate-level students who have a focus in life-long literacy. The award is named for Joanne R. Nurss, who spent most of her career at Georgia State educating teachers and working in programs for young children, adult literacy and English language learners.

Amani Talwar is the 2019 recipient of the Amy R. Lederberg Award for Outstanding Research in Educational Psychology.

Myung Ha Sur is the 2019 recipient of the Roslyn Hirsch Balbirer Memorial Scholarship.

Jarold Arnold is the 2019 recipient of the Margaret A. Jones Scholarship.

Amelia Campbell is the 2019 recipient of the Jeff and Debbie Rupp Endowed Scholarship in Exercise Science.

Claudine Miles is the 2019 recipient of the Educational Leadership Award.

Amber Pradhan is the 2019 recipient of the Robert L. Blaney and Joe C. White Scholarship.

The David Jemel Holloman Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an exceptional undergraduate student in the university's College of Education & Human Development majoring in early childhood and elementary education.

The Kenneth and Mary Matheny Professional in Counseling and Psychology Scholarship is given to full-time doctoral students in the College of Education and Human Development's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services. The award was established by Kenneth Matheny, a faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services for 45 years, and his wife, Mary.

Named for Georgia State University alumnus Karen Lopp and awarded by the university's College of Education & Human Development, the Karen Lopp Memorial Scholarship is given to a student in recognition of their commitment to multicultural issues and social injustice through advocacy and service.

Established by Dr. Colleen O'Rourke, retired associate professor of communication sciences and disorders in Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development, the Communication Sciences and Disorders Graduate Scholarship is given to a graduate student in the communication sciences and disorders master's program.

The JoAnna F. White Play Therapy Scholarship is given to a graduate student in good standing in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services who is dedicated to the study and clinical practice of play therapy. It's named for JoAnna F. White, former department chair of the college's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services who began the play therapy training program during her tenure.
