Terry Coniglio Wins With MBA Colleagues In Mercedes-Benz USA eMobility Case Competition

Terry Coniglio, of Wellsboro, was part of a team of Flexible MBA students at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business that won the Mercedes-Benz eMobility Case Competition, focused on the luxury automaker's future electric car offerings.
Seven teams were invited to compete; Georgia State's team ultimately won out over teams from the University of Georgia and Emory University.
Dietmar Exler, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, congratulated the Georgia State team for their creative and innovative solutions.
The team provided a thorough and comprehensive look at electric cars and potential solutions for the car company. The team administered an in-depth survey of more than 300 professionals and presented the data for the company's use.
Georgia State's team also exerted extra effort the extra effort exerted to mystery shop a dealer for unfiltered data about how Mercedes-Benz dealers in the U.S. speak about electric cars.
The business students additionally shared unique approaches to leveraging Mercedes-Benz USA's current unsold electric cars through an apartment-complex car-sharing idea, and provided supporting data while building electric car branding.
As the winners of the competition, the team was invited to The Brand Immersion Experience at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Vance, Ala., comprising of track and off-road driving, as well as an internship with Mercedes-Benz USA.
