Sydney Cunningham Wins Best Entertainment Feature and Best Entertainment Story Awards of the Georgia College Press Association

Sydney Cunningham, of Acworth, a Georgia State University student, has placed first in the Best Entertainment Feature and the Best Entertainment Story competitions of the Georgia College Press Association.

Awards were presented Feb. 11, 2017, in Macon, Ga.

Cunningham is on the staff of The Signal, Georgia State's student newspaper.

The Best Entertainment Feature category award was in Group I; the Best Entertainment Story category award was in Group II.

The Georgia College Press Association is an organization dedicated to assisting in the betterment of Georgia collegiate journalism and providing a reciprocal flow of information between its member colleges. Membership to GCPA is an excellent opportunity for print journalism students to discuss common issues of college newspapers and to network with newspaper professionals.
