Sonya Shinhoster Receives the Maymi Walker Chandler Scholarship

Sonya Shinhoster of Dublin received the Maymi Walker Chandler "Class of 1939" Memorial Scholarship. Shinhoster received the scholarship for demonstrating academic excellence and leadership.

The award was presented during the Honors Day festivities of the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions on March 27, 2017.

This award was established in memory of Maymi Walker Chandler in recognition of her commitment to the professional development of women.
