Shannon Vidal Wins at 2017 GSU Film Festival

Shannon Vidal of Newnan won the Best Fiction prize at the 2017 GSU Film Festival, held May 4, 2017 at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta.

The annual student showcase featured the Jury Selections of Films - some of the best student shorts produced during the 2016-2017 academic year. Attendees included faculty, students, family and friends, as well as industry insiders who were on hand to applaud this year's festival winners.

The jury included Deon Kay, Associate Professor Film/Video Production University West Georgia, and Christina Humphrey, former Creative Director/Programmer Atlanta Film Festival.
