Natasha Deveauuse-Brown, a doctoral student in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University, presented her research during the 2017 Georgia Public Health Association Conference in Atlanta.

Deveauuse-Brown of Marietta discussed her research "Reducing Sexual Risk Behaviors and Intentions Among Rural African American Youth."

The Georgia Public Health Association (GPHA) mission is to advocate for conditions in which all people and communities can be healthy; to promote the scientific foundation of public health practice and policy; and to assure a continuous voice broadly representing public health in Georgia.

GPHA's 88th Annual Meeting & Conference was held April 11-12, 2017 and brought together more than 500 students, researchers, and practitioners from across Georgia to network and share experiences.
