Pennix Receives the Mickle Scholarship in Criminal Justice

Shakia Pennix of Hyattsville was celebrated for receiving the Judge Andrew A. Mickle Scholarship in Criminal Justice during the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies Honors Day at Georgia State University in March.

This merit-based scholarship recognizes an exceptional undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing a degree in criminal justice.

Pennix will graduate in May with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice.
