Namwon Choi wins 2014 Dean's Art Award top honor

Namwon Choi of Seoul is the first place winner of the 2014 Dean's Art Award.

The Dean's Art Award recognizes student achievement in the field of visual arts. Students submit original works of visual art to be reviewed by a committee comprised of faculty, staff and student leadership from the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design and the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office.

The theme for the third annual Dean's Art Award was Art Matters. A first place winner, a second place winner and 10 honorable mentions were chosen for the 2014 award. Each of the winning pieces will remain exhibited in the Dean's Office throughout the 2014-2015 academic year.
